The Hype Train! (1 Viewer)

Don't mess with Texas
I love the Hype Train especially when it pertains to players that are under the radar. I've been the beneficiary of the Train yet the naysayers sit along side the track and throw rocks as the train passes them by leaving them behind. The naysayers often repeat themselves with such terms as: "It's only preseason" or "He played against the second team" yada yada yada!! Well news flash, that's normally how the Train gets started!

I just want to thank those the were the conductors of the CJ3 Train, his train was probably the most controversial, debated yet beneficial so Choo Choo, that train took some of us to the playoffs, champions and some winners of our leagues. :banned:

There was the Moeaki train and so far it's on the right "track" and my TE roster got stronger and deeper with Gates, Celek, Cook and with Casey and Fells riding the bench.

Which brings me to Kendricks train, to the conductor of the Train I say thanks to you! I loved the hearing the moans when I drafted him late in the 2nd. Not sure how the train will take us but I'm a believe. I chose this train over Thomas, Beckum, and Rudolph.

I normally only ride one train per year but I just couldn't pass up the D. Moore and A. Pittman Train. I don't if they'll pay off or not but they are headed in the direction that I need to go so we'll see how far it travels.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure there have been some :tfp: but there have been plenty that have paid off as well which is why I love this board and it's the best around.

I'm curious to know which Train has paid off for you. :drive:

Finley. Picked him up a couple of years ago when his production was nothing. Granted he has not staged healthy but I could still get a ton for him.

The Ryan Grant train a few year back but that's been derailed for a while.

I'm on the Greg Little and D. Moore train this year. Hopefully picking up steam!

The Antonio Brown train is getting a little too crowded for my tastes. I boarded the Sanders anti-hype train in 2 drafts.

Brown was a great sleeper a couple weeks ago, now he's being drafted in non-sleeper range. I'm doing the same thing and snagging Sanders late for the anti-hype switch-a-roo.

I loved the Mike Williams hype train last preseason. Nothing like getting your #3 WR in the back end of a draft and watching him perform like a #1 WR.

:goodposting: I drafted Brown in the 18th round back on August 13th and got laughed at. Now he is going 11/12th. I'll take Sanders late now.

you picked up kendricks in the 2nd round?
Rookie dynasty draft, obviously.
Kendricks went 1.06 in my IDP rookie draft a week ago. He was then packaged with Ryan Grant and traded for Mark Ingram.

Apparently the Kendricks hype train is off the charts in my league (but we are in Missouri, so no Chiefs or Rams go unnoticed).
I don't think it's just your league. I've seen him drafted well before his listed ADP multiple times now even in redraft. I get why people are excited, I just don't get people are SO excited.

:goodposting: Regardless of the player actually blowing up or not, I think we all learn a lot in sometimes heated discussions. I seems just about everybody that posts in here brings something interesting to the table. gotta love the shark pool

:goodposting: happens every year with multiple guys. Last year for me it was Hakeem Nicks. Got him in all my redrafts last year because of this place :$$$$. I didnt hop on the Foster train but there was a lot of discussion about him as well.

Come aboard the "Victor Cruz Train". This kid has talent and apparently the coaching staff is in agreement.

Also

Jumping on the "Eric Decker Train" this guy puts in the time and effort and it is going to pay off.

Aaron Rodgers. He was on waivers even after Favre's 3rd retirement announcement because everyone saw that he was hurt his last year backing up Favre and looked mediocre in preseason.

Silly rabbits...

I tried desperately to get on the Foster, but by the time we had our drafts, the Foster train was awfully crowded.
