The (Inclement) Weather Thread (1 Viewer)

St. Louis at Jacksonville - Weather Alert

Summary: Winds from 15 to 25 MPH

How do the winds behave in that stadium? Could this limit the passing game?

What kind of impact should this weather have on the NE RB's? Does anyone think NE leans more towards shorter routes, which means Faulk gets an expanded role?
The best straightforward runner on the Pats right now is Sammy Morris, and he can catch the ball, too. I'd lean more toward him than Faulk. Same thing goes for Thomas Jones vs. Leon Washington. I wouldn't start LenDale, but I do think that a lot of coaches will prefer thunder to lightning in bad weather.

Looks like the Pats, Jets and Skins' games will be played in the rain.
Do you downgrade the passing for Brady and Moss?
Titans secondary is decimated. Starting 2 rookie cbs.
THIS overrides the bad weather, imo. im starting Brady. with all the quick hit passes, the weather shouldnt be that big a deal. i mean, it's Tom ####### Brady vs. 2 rook CB's. sign me up.

So? The question is about whether this downgrades Brady and Moss. The fact that the Titans suck at pass defense this year was accounted for when FBGs did their rankings/projections (you'd have to believe). The weather is a new element, and IMO, it most definitely downgrades Brady and Moss. If the weather is as bad as is being predicted, it's going to be hard for Brady to hit any long passes to Moss (not that they've been that common this year). Furthermore, the weather will allow Tennessee to pay less attention to longer pass plays (not ignore, but maybe they won't have to roll double coverage to the posts, corner, and fly routes), and allow them to focus more on the intermediate and shorter passes.
:lmao:

What I find mind-boggling about these "forecasters" for NE, is that there was not ONE word of snow............................................................................

................Anywhere.

I love the over thinkers in this thread. This and the Colston thread make me laugh. How many of you did the :missing: on Brady's first TD to Moss? Suckers is the only kind word coming to mind. lol
