Stafford is a good, not great QB.  Stafford is not a top ten but is a top half starter.

Lions were always behind so Stafford piled up a ton of garbage points and stats.

Will Stafford win a title in LA?  Probably not but That being said he is better than Goff.

I'll put up one of those tough choices that maybe some of you are going thru this week but I am going to SIT my buddy Matt Stafford tonight who I have enjoyed since the season started, drafted him, etc...I took Tannehill as my QB2 and thought I was set but along the way i started falling for Sam Darnold and I think I am prepared to play Darnold over Stafford this week. 

Stafford to the bench for the first time and Darnold will get the nod this week at home vs Philly. Good chance they both do well but I wanted to play Darnold and justify the roster spot. BTW, not rooting against Staff, playing Kupp in almost all my leagues so I want to see the Rams score tonight, just feel like Darnold will have a little more when the dust settles this week.

Stafford cuold change things in the 2nd half but I had a gut feeling tonight. Looks like we might see a Final Score well below what Vegas was projecting tonight. Thursday Night low points once again.

I mean I guess these 2 teams can run the clock out on each other and not try to score a bunch with their super talented offensive skill players  :sadbanana:

I can't think of 10 qbs I'd rather have than Stafford this year.   I'd put him at 7.   I'd put Allen, Mahomes, Watson, Brady, Rodgers, Dak (probably) in front of him.   I'm sure some folks would put Jackson or Murray in front of him.  Herbert will be there soon, but rather have the vet at this moment.  Tannehill is a possibility, but being a dolphins fan, I just can't do it.

Why can't they move it to Friday? NCAA has their Thursday night thing and were doing it for a lot longer going back decades. 

Friday Night Football to get the weekend started would be much better and give the teams an extra day to prepare. 

Then we could have decent football about 5 nights a week and put on 30 lbs by Christmas.

Herbert and Murray ar absolutely in front of Stafford,  not even close.

Stafford and Collins tonight. I hope I never have to start another player on a Thursday night again or am even tempted too.

Yes. Friday, or adjust the schedule so we only have Thursday games involving teams coming off a bye. I suppose they'd lose 6-8 TNF games per year, depending on how the byes were scheduled, so I guess that will never happen.

Always thought it was cause high school football is Friday nights.

I'd take him if I was thinking for the future, but I'd still rather have Stafford THIS YEAR.  I have no problem with you thinking he's better at the moment though.  He's playing really well.   

 
Collins looks about as useless as Christine Michael used to. Runs like he's shot out of a gun but no vision or idea where he's going. 

 
looks like his finger index finger on his throwing hand is either broken or badly dislocated.     gotta be tough throwing with that.
