The credibility and integrity of the game are at stake right now. There's no way the fans will tolerate this crap to go on all season. Things are going to start getting real ugly with the players and coaches soon as well. The union has won tonight. The NFL has to realize that they have to get the regular officials back ASAP.
$11B entity and the ones in charge of maintaining its' integrity are not qualified for their positions. This is akin to having someone formerly in charge of a 2-person audit division at a 200 employee small business suddenly being tasked with running the 500-person audit division of General Electric, who employs 100,000 people. It's laughable.

I would support a fan strike. What we are watching is a collection of noncredible football games being played. Why support this any more?

I'm not saying that the officiating didn't suck but we are going to totally ignore the bull#### pass interference call against Seattle that extended a scoring drive for Green Bay that put them ahead in the first place?

Advertisers can blather on to my blank screen. Nothing Thursday, nothing Sunday, nothing Monday. I'll plug in my lineups and just let 'em ride.
It has become so intolerable to watch these Keystone Cops. I've tried. I've supported the NFL position. But, this is unnecessarily awful. So, until they respect the shield and respect the game to officiate it with the importance this whole thing supposedly represents, I'll hit the ignore button. Wake me when the NFL figures it out and caves to their demands.

The season seriously can not go on like this. Its one thing to have a bad call here and there but the calls that have and haven't been made during the past 3 weeks is seriously impacting teams full season.

There were a lot of BS calls against both teams. Doesn't make any of the right. It was BS roughing the passer call that extended the final drive as well. And way too many PI calls on both teams. Just painful to watch all the way around. I don't know about an all-out strike yet, but I can see another strongly worded letter by the Players Union. Maybe even some owners publicly voicing concerns.

NFLPA already submitted a letter last week I believe. After this game though, enough is enough. Owners would just get fined if they said anything too plus they are still racking in the cash.

Not a fan of either team and the ending actually helped me win a FFL game. But it was a bad call. No tears here, just ticked about BS officiating. Its costing games now.Nothing that happened this weekend was worse than anything the regular refs did. Nothing worse than the Trey Junkin game. You're upset because your team lost on a close play where the guy should have just knocked it down instead of going for the glory-boy INT.

BS officiating has cost playoff games in the past. Were you ticked off then? Replacement refs are just as good as the regular idiots out there who don't know the rules. No guarantee that Ed Hochuli calls it any different. I see a bunch of close plays that are matters of opinion. And you know what they say about everyone having an opinion. I see you qualify for both sides of that rule.

I don't know why you guys are blaming the replacement refs. Wasn't it the booth that made the error in calling the last play a TD? I mean do the replacement refs work in the booth also or what?

They couldn't overturn the determination of possession. All they could review was that the ball didn't hit the ground and neither player was out of bounds.

Exactly. There are teams that are going to lose out on this season soley on blown calls. Its happening so frequently too. The fact this has gone on this long is a joke.

I'm with you. I've been saying as much since I saw the play. How do we get the NFL to realize that they are losing money because the fans are fed up and leaving. i agree with the poster that said Goodell should be replaced over this.

Nah. Only interested in the numbers anymore. Fantasy numbers. The game itself is unwatchable. The players.....just numbers.
Not sure about that....as the rule reads on simulations possessions (as per presented on sportscenter) I don't see why the booth (not the replacements) can't slow it down and see that Jennings had 2 hands on ball first, followed by Tate keenly, in the act of falling down with Jennings make an effort to get his hands into the scrum to try to also get hands on the ball. But he very clearly had no hands on ball at start of players coming down from jump, and to me, as the rule reads, the control needs to happen simultaneous, not one guy followed by next. If Tate's two hands are on ball at exact split second as Jennings for full catch to ground then you gotta say td, otherwise booth guys gotta over turn that. It was clear in solo mo, takes 2 mins to see tops.That said, I concede that replacements HAVE to go. I do agree with some, if the real guys had been involved with the craziness of the first 3 weeks this year we would have plenty of talking material there too, but this is just too much heat...to front and center, both sides need to concede a bit in negotiations. If I was full time refs, I'd me nervous as #### to get back out there under this scrutiny

Yeah, I'm kinda done. I pour a lot into loving the league each year, each week, each day. To have the game be tainted in this way, just makes me feel like not giving a #### anymore. I have 41 fantasy football leagues and I'm so sick over this BS that went on tonight that I can't even carry over the interest to check my scores.
My thoughts exactly. Lol. Yes the officiating sucks but it sucks both ways. All teams are being Hirt and being benefitted equally from it. As another poster mentioned gb scored as a result of a Bs pass int. call on Seattle that extended their drive.

Yeah, but I don't have the energy to rip into the inconsistent, incoherent moderating practices that have devolved in here over time. The fundamental cornerstone for competitive balance is in ruins right now. The NFL game.is now only a facsimileof its former self. This gamer cannot be trusted, the integrity of the games reduced to fraud.Impossible to support this any longer. Goodell, whom I have supported in the past, is not concerned about the integrity of the game. That point was punctuated tonight.
