Getting solid starts by Lester, Schilling and Beckett coupled with playing error free ball for a franchise history high number of games. The bats are posting solid numbers riight now as well... averaging 7 or 8 runs/game during the streak. The result? They've outscored opponents 55-22 over those games. What can we attribute this winning streak to? I think alot of it has to do with the NL East sucking. The Yanks and Sox are good solid teams in the AL but if they were in the NL theyd win 110 games each. I havent watched any Sox games but what can we credit the Sox doing to help in this win streak?
Just a hot streak though.. don't expect them to run away with the east (not that anyone really did I guess).

Agreed it's a 3 horse race this year though I think Toronto fades and drops a good 4-5 games out by the end.

Yeah I know I know....
