The PSF Thanksgiving Table - Say something nice or don't say nuttin' at all (1 Viewer)

I'm thankful for everyone here, no matter their leanings, because at the end of the day, we all share this little blue marble, and despite our differences, we all matter to somebody.

I'm thankful for my family and wish good health to all.  My granddaughter (20) has moved back in with us, so it will be a special Thanksgiving this year.

I’m thankful for another year around the sun with the love of my life.  We’ve known each other all our lives (well, since we were 14 or so) and there is nothing in the world like being loved by someone who’s seen you at your very worst and your very best, particularly when your birth family isn’t really like that.

On a similar note, I’m thankful for this place. And I hope everyone here knows that even those with whom I argue, disagree, squabble, and shout on occasion, if you somehow got my number and called me at 2 am on a Wednesday and said you were in trouble, I would pry myself out of bed, get a tarp and a shovel, and help you bury the body.  And probably only charge you a very reasonable hourly rate.

It's hard to be thankful in now my sixth year stuck in this frozen tomb caring for two people i never liked, but i am truly thankful for the outlet of my FFApper friends' thoughts & care. And a small thanks to da Bootyjudge (who a you ta judge?!) for making me consider the possiblility of America's return to just, caring & thoughtful governance, when i thought i never would again. Blessings to you all -

I'm really grateful my dad and sister finally ended their pain and misery, even though it was way to soon for my sister.

I'm grateful that I was able to spend quite a bit of time with them toward their end, although both probably would have appreciated more than I could offer.

I'm grateful my oldest poodle continues to defy death and still enjoys poodle-life longer than most standards.

I'm grateful that my mom still smiles and welcomes me about half my visits. That smile warms my heart. I wish I could send in a body  emotional double for the other half.

I really, really appreciate this community and all my wonderful, supportive friends here, who even loved me when death and dying were ubiquitous in my postings.

I appreciate all the friends and adventures I continue to accumulate.

I am thankful for my wife who gives game attempt to join my adventure. Sometimes. And gives me no grief when I adventure alone.
