The Ravens will punch-no forget it (1 Viewer)

Once upon a season dreary as Raven fans wandered weak and weary...you get the general idea. I'm actually rooting for them this weekend, but I ain't holding out for much...

quoth the raven, "Nevermore"

Cool! The gang's all here! Are we prepared to discuss why Belichick is actually a pretty cool guy and Bill Polian is the true Dark Sith Lord of the NFL?

Oh yeah, back on topic

All this talk of Poe and the Ravens makes me want to don a smoking jacket, put on some slippers and relax in my mahogony-laden den beside the fire reading a good book.

Im the guy who said PHI-NE would be closer than many thought. I think this will be a mighty romp. Something like 56-10 sounds about right.

:goodposting: I'm in agreement. I was pretty vocal in saying Philly could hang with the Pats (and took some strong criticism for saying so) Baltimore, OTOH, does NOT have the offense to compete, and their Defense is a looooooooooong way from the shutdown DEF that carried them to a Super Bowl. Heck, their Defense isn't even as good as Philly's (IMO).They will slow NE a little bit though.....35-6 seems about right to me

West Virginia was a 28+ point favorite at home against Pitt last night with a trip to the national championship on the line ... and lost.

So, anything can happen .... but usually doesn't

this is the same defense that Balt. used against the Colts in the playoffs last season, and held the Colts to 15 pts off of 5 FG's..I think with Ray-Ray in there, they'll play inspired ball because they do NOT want to be yet another team blown out by the Patriots..they'll keep this one close, IMO..I think Heap is back, and that can only help this stagnant Ravens' offense.. 24-14 NE.

I think I saw that Heap is out. NE 38 Bal 10

New England will probably win this one in a blowout, but Im more concerned about NE coming out of this game healthy than anything. I have a feeling if NE gets up relatively big in this one, they actually will rest some players considering theyll be facing Pittsburgh next week coming off a short week. But for all intents and purpsoses, it'll probably be over by halftime.

that's been the case almost all season....but I'll agree with you on the score. :lmao:

Possibly the only coach I dislike more than Bellichick is Billick. Bellichick is an arrogant jerk who unfortunately can back it up. Billick is an arrogant jerk who can't back it up. Billick is Bellichick without the extra letters, those seem to make all the difference...
