Unfortunately that's pretty typical of Sox fans at the Trop. Maybe the lowest form of life. They're the reason I don't attend Sox-Rays games anymore (unless it's the ALCS
Most of the BoSox fans down here are douchbox bandwagon fans that didn't exist before 2004. The Blue Jays train in Dunedin, Baltimore used to train in St. Pete...never been a problem. At the Trop, Sox fans have become worse than Yank fans, and that's almost hard to believe.Crawford is a BEAST.ETA: There are quite a few BoSox fans down here in the Fort Myers area due to the BoSox spring training being here. It kind of doesn't make much sense with them being in the same division as the Rays and that I'd consider the Rays the home team here. Whatever.
I honestly think fans started getting passionate again about the Red Sox in 20001. The Mid to late 90's Yankees dominance drove a fair share away.Anyhow, what's going on with BJ?Most of the BoSox fans down here are douchbox bandwagon fans that didn't exist before 2004. No, he isn't alright. Hasn't been since the all star break last year.Is Kazmir all right? I'm almost considering dropping the guy at this point.

Looks like Longoria is about the only safe bet on this team at this time. These anomalies tend to work themselves out.Time to cut this guy or what? No, he isn't alright. Hasn't been since the all star break last year.Is Kazmir all right? I'm almost considering dropping the guy at this point.
You should be bitter. Watching what the Rays and Magic did to your teams in the past 6 months would make me bitter as well. These anomalies tend to work themselves out.
www.firemaddon.comAbove .500 and 3.5 out of first with 117 games to play......almost seems impossible to overcome.
You seem angry. Why is this?......horrible bullpen, absolutely. But they presently are scoring the most runs in baseball. They'll be ok (maybe) if they can find some outs in the 7th-9th. That doesn't seem likely though.Nice gag job.
sounds similar to the Yankees dilemma (the positive with the Yanks is they have some horses in the rotation). You seem angry. Why is this?......horrible bullpen, absolutely. Because Tampa tonight was my second-biggest bet of the year. So you can thank me for the loss.Wanna know what my biggest bet of the year was?You seem angry. Why is this?Nice gag job.
Didnt the Indians come back from like a 12 run deficit a few years backFinless said:10 run deficit in a 9 inning game. Not sure its ever happened in the modern era. Price? He looks like he needs a bit more seasoning honestly.
Cue the 10-game winstreak.:finless touch:

Tell me you don't love this thread? Seriously. Every time I see it I chuckle a bit. Back in the basement just gets me for some reason. You know I actually like this team, right?Spot on here, Fin

Go back to the box score, Cap. It was only 9 runs.10 run deficit in a 9 inning game. Not sure its ever happened in the modern era. Price? He looks like he needs a bit more seasoning honestly.![]()
Yes, I do actually. But you also understand it's my obligation to bump it. He has batted 6th and 7th also. Just depends on what mood Maddon is in that day...Anyone know why Bartlett has been batting eighth since coming off the DL? Is this a plot to get men on base for BJ?
I think it gives a great balance to the lineup. You can't move anyone out of the top 5 now with BJ wreaking havoc again and Zobrist perfect at 5. So putting JB at 7 or 8 balances out the last 4 in the lineup well.Anyone know why Bartlett has been batting eighth since coming off the DL? Is this a plot to get men on base for BJ?
It certainly seems to be working. And I can't really argue with the results, now that Burrell seems to be showing signs of life. But batting Bartlett behind Gross just seems odd to me. I'm not used to seeing such a productive hitter batting 8th.I think it gives a great balance to the lineup. Navarro is so bad at 9, maybe your point of having a better opp closer to Upton has a lot to do with it.It certainly seems to be working.
