The Rays (1 Viewer)

What did Mark Grace say about slumpbusters?

"Find one that's fat, ugly, or both."

The Rays found both.

Crawford is a BEAST.

ETA: There are quite a few BoSox fans down here in the Fort Myers area due to the BoSox spring training being here. It kind of doesn't make much sense with them being in the same division as the Rays and that I'd consider the Rays the home team here. Whatever.

Most of the BoSox fans down here are douchbox bandwagon fans that didn't exist before 2004. The Blue Jays train in Dunedin, Baltimore used to train in St. Pete...never been a problem. At the Trop, Sox fans have become worse than Yank fans, and that's almost hard to believe.

I honestly think fans started getting passionate again about the Red Sox in 20001. The Mid to late 90's Yankees dominance drove a fair share away.Anyhow, what's going on with BJ?

Nice gag job.
You seem angry. Why is this?
Because Tampa tonight was my second-biggest bet of the year. So you can thank me for the loss.Wanna know what my biggest bet of the year was?

The White Sox yesterday. Jenks blows his first save of the year against the powerhouse Pirates.

After those two games, I won't be needing any more evidence that I need to stop betting on baseball. You can't make it up.

10 run deficit in a 9 inning game. Not sure its ever happened in the modern era. Price? He looks like he needs a bit more seasoning honestly.

Didnt the Indians come back from like a 12 run deficit a few years back

Spot on here, Fin
Tell me you don't love this thread? Seriously. Every time I see it I chuckle a bit. Back in the basement just gets me for some reason. You know I actually like this team, right?
Yes, I do actually. But you also understand it's my obligation to bump it. It's like the Looney Tunes wolf and sheepdog who fight all day and then punch the time cards out and go home.'Night Ralph

Anyone know why Bartlett has been batting eighth since coming off the DL? Is this a plot to get men on base for BJ?
I think it gives a great balance to the lineup. You can't move anyone out of the top 5 now with BJ wreaking havoc again and Zobrist perfect at 5. So putting JB at 7 or 8 balances out the last 4 in the lineup well.

It certainly seems to be working. And I can't really argue with the results, now that Burrell seems to be showing signs of life. But batting Bartlett behind Gross just seems odd to me. I'm not used to seeing such a productive hitter batting 8th.

Navarro is so bad at 9, maybe your point of having a better opp closer to Upton has a lot to do with it.
