The Real 2-0 Teams (1 Viewer)

Some pretty funny Houston hate in this thread.

When I say I think the Texans are "for real" I mean I think they deserve their 2-0 record. I don't think anyone's saying they're going to moonwalk to the AFC championship.

For all of you saying that Houston is "for real" - and there seem to be an awful lot you - what are you expecting out of them? You don't seriously expect them to win that division, do you?
Making the playoffs seems to be a realistic expectation.

Most people thought they were for real when they started 6-3 last year. That turned out great  They're a soft team and will fade.

Good analysis here. Also, Houston didn't start 6-3 last year.

All I know is that I'm really looking forward to the CHI-GB Monday night game this week.

Good game and I'll have a lot of fantasy players in action with some matchups likely on the line.

Sorry chief, 5-3.

Tampa has looked solid on offense and defense in their 2 victories. Plus they have a lot of winnable games on the schedule, starting with Charlie Batch and the Steelers in Tampa this Sunday. If Tampa can hold Pittsburgh to their 17 point average, they have a very realistic chance of winning.

After that Tampa gets a bye to prepare for a middle of the road Cincy team. Then it's NO at home before the following stretch:

Stl

Ari

Atl

Car

Sf

I won't be surprised if TB wins 7 of their first 10 games. All of it hinges on Josh Freeman and the defense. Both of which are showing promise right now.

:lmao: Sorry, but as an objective fan, I don't see beating the best defense in the league right now even if, by some miracle, the Bucs can hold st Steelers to 17 (honestly, I can see Mendy ripping the Bucs for 120+).

Atlanta's offense, which is in the top 10 in points, yards, and rushing yards will be tough for the Bucs to keep up with, and San Fran went toe-to-toe with the SuperBowl Champs, when a bomb to Colston and a last second field goal decided the game.

They aren't beating Pittsburgh. You can't win if you don't score.

Pittsburgh put up 9 points in regulation against ATL and the offense scored 4 field goals against Tennessee. The strength of Tampa's defense is against the Run. Deangelo Williams was supposed to run all over them last week, but he was held to 54 yards on 17 carries. TB/PIT will be a low scoring affair (over/under is 33.5), which means Tampa can win if they win the turnover battle. SF hanging with New Orleans just means that New Orleans isn't unbeatable either. SF looked pathetic getting blown out by Seattle in week 1. Atlanta does look solid on both sides of the ball, but they are FAR from unbeatable. Even if they did hang 41 on a hapless Arizona team. I'm not saying Tampa is going 10 and 0, but they have a lot of winnable games on the schedule. What do they really need to take the next step forward and be a team that competes for the division? Freeman must continue to develop and the defense needs to play lights out.

Yes, that was quite a letdown when they finished with the same record as two AFC playoff teams.

You realize TB's run defense is 16th in terms of yards allowed, dont you?

Both of Miami's wins came on the road. Pretty good start to the season when you consider theyve already completed 25% of their road schedule.
I think Miami is in general underrated. Buffalo and Minnesota look kind of crappy, but they're both historically tough places to go to and win, in Buffalo's case early on ... the Bills almost tripped up NE last year.

As long as Chicago's D can stay healthy, I think they win 9-10 pretty easily...not sure if they can do anything in the playoffs, but making it is half the battle. Gonna be a fun season regardless, and I hope they pay Martz whatever he wants to keep him around. Making Cutler learn his 4th system in 4 years is just not fair to the guy, and I'll give him another mulligan if they put him through that crap once again.

Hahaha. As I was saying. Beating the Redskins, does not, make you Real. Sorry,.

(And i love the skins more than anyone.)
