Inbetween my obvious trolls and mockery I like to start each season with a different take or perspective on things. This week Rizz takes a look at Not so obvious starts, that will produce like you should have.
Quarterback:
Ryan Fitzpatrick - I dont care about Revis Island. Nor should you. Last season Fitz put up 190/1 and 260/3 vs the Jets. With another year of cohesion, less injuries, improved defense (thus better field position) and playing healthy, Mr Harvard puts up a respectable 250/2 v NYG week 1.
Running Back:
Roy Helu - By far the most talented and proven RB on the Skins offense. Tore up excellent defenses to end the season last year, as well as putting in a solid shift in preseason week 4. Helu is healthy, has an ACTUAL quarterback who defenses have to respect, as well as solid weapons in Garcon and Davis to keep DEF's honest. Helu not only has a field day in week 1, but does so all season long.
Don't fear the Shanahanigans. Helu is the boss, apple sauce. 130/1
Wide Receiver:
Mike Williams - Rookie stud and the inevitable slump last season. Forget about it though, Mike W will return strong. with Vincent Jackson stealing coverage and Martin ray ricing it, Mike sees plenty more open field and makes defenses pay like he did as a rookie.
Talent trumps. 80/1
Tight End:
Greg Olsen - not going to spend much time on this pick as he is already seen by many as a sexy pick/sleeper. Most wont start him this week, but he is going to show why you should have with a nice 70/1 statline. This will continue throughout the season, finishing as a top 6 TE.
Good Luck and doot da da loot doot...
