the RONNIE BROWN stock market .... (1 Viewer)

So Chatman looked good to you guys?

I have no idea where this love is coming from.

Neither back is going to have much value this year if the split continues like this. It seemed to me that whenever Brown would get rolling, he would come out of the game.
No Chatman did not look good. I have no idea what they did today with Ronnie and Chatman. If they're going to share a backfield, get two guys with differing styles (Brown and Booker; and get Booker in space)
You dont split the carries that s the worst thing to do, Brown is a very good RB he proved it in is first two seasons give him the ball 25 times he will put up the numbers for you ( Not 11 times ) . Booker would not be the answer , stricly on some 3rd down and once in a while change of pace but that should be it .

Cameron has zero experience has a head coach and it shows , the guy looks to be on a power trip ( It s ok when you know what you are doing )
I'm not saying split carries at all here. I simply say if Cam's going to share a backfield (having 2 RB's in the backfield...at the same time like he did today with Ronnie&Chatman), do it with guys differing styles & a more versatile skill set. Granted Ronnie did not look great. (And he does dance in the backfield far too much). But he needs the ball more than he got 2day. Terrible 1st showing by Cameron.

STOCK goes down after todays performance .. glad i dealt him ...
So what did you get and when did you trade him. If it was in the past 3 weeks, I can't believe it was much. Ronnie's value has been restricted since Cam started having him run back kickoffs. You'd have to be in a pretty clueless league to have been offered much more than a questionable RB like Lamont Jordan or a sleeper wr for him. He's my RB2 in a 14 team league, so I'm not too happy with the situation. However, given his current situation, I'll probably just ride him out. His 5 catches salvaged an otherwise bad day for me.

Unfortunately, this looks like a full blown RBBC. No reason reading into it or speculating b/c Cam showed us today what he has been talking about for a couple of weeks.

I did see that Chatman left the game with an injury, came back in, and had to leave agian. Not sure what the extent of that is. Come to think of it, he was banged up a couple of times today and had to have trainers come out to look at him.

does ronnies upcoming schedule translate into better chances vs. weaker defenses?

wk2 - dallas

wk3 - jets

wk4 - oakland

wk 5 - houston

wk6 - cleveland

wk7 - giants

wk8 -pats

BYE

anybody optimistic that he can turn it around against any of these teams. basically i think we're all waiting for that "blow-up game" (which will probably be 90 yards, TD), to move him. this is my first time as a brown owner, cant say i all that thrilled with the honor.

the biggest concern in my eyes is that miami gets down 14/17-0 and then theye done runningand brown didnt seem too involved in the passing game. i thought for sure after the chatman fumble that brown was going to monopolize the ground game. wrong.

PLEASE SOMEBODY, enlighten me with a ray of positivity.

Hope so because he will be filling the flex spot I had Jacobs in. :lmao:

Funny how just two years ago Brown and Cadillac were anticipated to be Top 10 dynasty prospects. Now their respective values couldn't be lower.

Good call Sanboy. sometimes preseason is totally meaningless and sometimes we get Chatman.

Cam is my nighmare as Brown owner, but the Oline is even worse! I would take a Portis/Betts split any day of the week

RONNIE BROWN .. last year a top 10 DYNASTY PICK ..

this off-season a top 10 - 15 dynasty pick

this coming weekend ..

we will all see the RONNIE BROWN STOCK either CRASH ( RBBC ) or HOLD STEADY

Personally I was a BIG RONNIE BROWN fan until recently .......

the more i look at RONNIE BROWN the more i see a guy who has had his BEST YEARS in the NFL and college splitting carries

he looked more comfortable when he was splitting with Caddy and RICKY WILLIAMS than he did last year trying to be the # 1 ...............

Cam has said many times he wants a 2 headed monster and that from week to week the AMOUNT of carries each Rb gets could change .... if i can see that RONNIE BROWN is good splitting carries .. I am pretty sure a NFL COACH can see the same thing

while i think JESSE CHATMAN long term wont be the RBBC partner .. I think we are seeing a situation going up in flames

whats everyones opinion ????????????????????

( i personally dealt him in both dynasty leagues ... but still as i was hitting accept .. my stomach turned ...because the guy still might turn out to be a total stud ! )

BUT i wasnt willing to take the change and watch the stock fall on its face

THE MOMENT RONNIE BROWN GOES 14 for 60 yards and CHATMAN GOES 12 - 40 .. BROWNS STOCK and TRADE VALUE HITS THE FLOOR
