The Saints will be in the Superbowl (1 Viewer)

This team is not going to lose at home again this year. So enjoy your last playoff game Vikings and Cowpies. Personally I hope the Cowboys win and return for a little pay back. There is no way in hell you beat the Saints a second time in our place especially with most of the team back healthy. In post game interviews most of the Saints want the Cowboys for this very reason with exception of Daren Sharper who wants the Vikings. They are juiced for this game which will be the first ever NFC Championship hosted in New Orleans, the crowd is going to be out the box and Sean Payton will dial up the right plays and hold nothing back with play calling. God help either team when they come to the Dome next week. Enjoy the divisional.

this is a bold prediction!
Not as bold as you might think. I don't work for ESPN.(Romo Farve network) The Saints are the #1 Seed, had the best record and are now playing like it. The Saints have owned the Cowboys recently even if they did beat us by 7 points on an off day in our first loss this season.

Reggie Bush looked fierce yesterday. Not at all like the bust who couldn't run between the tackles. If he's at the top of his game they will be difficult to stop.

Payton has been treating Bush with kid gloves in the regular season because with the type of injury he had it takes about a year to recover. He has also stored up quite a few Bush plays that can not be reviewed on tape by opposing defenses. Maybe I can keep my screen name after all. LOL

Cowboys or Vikings are a TD better than the Saints. They are simply more complete teams but good luck and all that.
You do realize that the Saints have not been healthy until now. They had 6 starters out the last time we played the Cowpies. No Shockey no Bush, No Greer, no Porter no Fujita etc etc. They are back and contributing now. It will be a different outcome. Saints by at least two scores.

You don't know how to win with grace do you? I used to like the Saints until their fans started acting like you. I won't be rooting for your team.

I am like this because of all the people that wrote the Saints off. Sorry it comes with the territory Im not here to recruit a fan base so pull for who you like.

You couldn't be more wrong. Cowboys are playing very good, but Nawlins had a better chance winning with healthy defensive players on the field (Ellis, Porter, Greer, Shanle). All these players being on the field make this defense what it was the first half of the season. The Vikings lost 4 of their last 5. I don't see how that makes them better than the Saints. Their defense is very overrated, and Favre thinks he can win games on his on for them. All this hate for the Hu Dat?! Just baffles me.

You acted this way before the Saints went on their losing streak.
Give it a rest girly. People have disrespected the Saints since even before the Cowboys game not even taking in to account injuries that plagued the team and caused them to slow down. The no team has won after 3 lost games crap had me fuming. So call this a little justified venting and I told you so.

:goodposting:Don't worry, we don't need you! This has been the best season for the franchise ever, and because the fans feel confident for once people think we being a-holes. Funny no one ever bashs Steeler or Cowboy fans for their arrogance.

Cowboys made the blue print on how to beat the Saints, and the Boys will do it again at the Dome. I mean the Cards have given up what 80 points the past two games. A pee wee football team could score against the cards.

Enjoy the win Saints fans, "cause the boys are coming to town" and Drew is going to feeling a cool Breeze on his back

Keep predicting us to lose, cause we continue to win when you do. Sorry, but I can't see the Cowboys beating us at home again. This isn't the Eagles. The Saints problem in the previous game was blocking and making tackles. They will solve those problems. Again, having Greer, Porter, and Gay all healthy makes this team soooo much better on defense.

the saints had to play when they had players injured? and they got no handicap? this league is so unfairi know the cowboys were 100%, that whole limiting Demarcus Ware to 3rd down rusher due to him almost snapping his neck the week before was just a spoof. in that game if he was 100% he may have broke the single game sack record

Ware will find the going a little bit harder this time around I am sure of it. Payton will have a plan in place for Mr. Ware. But then again lets not get ahead of ourselves. The Cowpies might choose to fold this week instead of next week.

Yea and the blueprint was play them while a ton of important starters are not in the game. The Cowboys have yet to see what the Saints are capable of on offense or defense, and they still were barely able to hold them off. If they even get past Minnesota, which I'm pretty skeptical of, they are going to come into a much louder stadium this time around against a rested and healthy Saints team, and they're going to be having flashbacks of that 06 beatdown the Saints put on them

I'll be rooting for the Saints in next week's game (largely because I don't like the Vikings or Cowboys that much), but statements like this...

The Saints have owned the Cowboys recently even if they did beat us by 7 points on an off day in our first loss this season.
...are absurd. An off day? Ever think that they had an off day because they were outplayed?

i don't have a vested interest in either the cowboys or the vikings, just pointing out that other teams and one(cowboys) in particular played with key players injured as well. both the cowboys and the vikings coming in today are pretty healthy as well. vikes look like harvin/shiancoe/williams wall/winfield seem to be as healthy as they have been since about mid season.

They were out played that game but it wont happen with all the rested starters on the field. We would have lost yesterday if the starters that were out for the Cowboys game were out. No Shockey, No Bush, no Greer, No Shanle, No Porter (playing a rookie and a guy who was signed off the street in Mike Mckenzie to cover the Wr's with Tony Romo back there. You do the math. Also you dont think that Shockey and Bush wouldnt have been worth at least one scores difference in that Cowboys game? Shockey scored once yesterday and Bush scored twice. Its not the same offense without them.. Oh and Lance Moore the forgotten man is back. I will take my chances with my post and will stand by it.I have no fear of the Cowboys, I want them and the Saints want them.

Be careful of what you wish for...you just might get it. Whatever defense the Saints get next week won't completely lay down like the Arizona defense did yesterday.

that is true. I felt sorry for the Cardinals fans at the end of that game. The 2nd teamers had to go out and play to finish the game. How often does that happen in the playoffs?

As a Saints fan, this thread makes me cringe.
Too many wrecked seasons has you gun shy? Sorry to rise your fears.
I don't think that is what is making him cringe.
Oh yeah I should be a humble little never done anything Saints fan and go back to my corner right? Let me have my moment because I haven't had too many you know? There will be time for  bagheads in other seasons. Not this one.

Gotta love the Saints fans around here.

When they are winning = "OMG NO ONE IS COMING INTO DATS HOUSE AND BEATING US ZOMGGGG!!!"

When the bucs, skins, cowboys are running all over them = "oh well it was fun to dream, this is the saints team of old, they peaked too early, wont be surprised if they are out by the divisional round"

I understand the confidence, but I really don't like this kind of thing. Leave the arrogance to the Cowboys fans. It's what they do best.

I, also, think the Cowboys are going to find it much more difficult to win in the Dome this time around (assuming they beat Minnesota), but I would prefer to stay humble.

The Saints are a great team and have a great chance to get to the Super Bowl. They're going to have to play like they did tonight to win next week, though, because both the Cowboys and Vikings are great teams too. Personally, I think we match up better with the Vikings, although that doesn't mean we can't beat the Cowboys.

Yeah. You got one group of fans who are shocked when we beat anybody and can't wait to say "Same ole Saints", then you got those who the moment we do anything good are shouting from the rooftop.I've been saying since 2006 that as long as we have Brees, we are a threat. Some people can't quite make themselves believe it and some people think that because we have Brees we can't be beat.

O.K. My fellow Saints I will tone down the arrogance but not the confidence. I believe in our boys this year and we are very very due a Championship. If not this year, when?

Has nothing to do with it. I respect my opponents. The talent difference on these teams is razor thin. A handful of plays each game determine the outcome. All the chutzpah displayed on the message board doesn't affect the game one iota. Why waste the energy?

Also, do you want to be one of those fans?

Confidence is great, but coming in a game away from the Superbowl and making a thread about the saints team that clearly has shown a weakness at some point this season and marking your post with  just seems a bit arrogant just as some Dallas faithful. If the Saints play like they did last night they should be in good shape, but they still have shown a weakness in the cutback lanes and they are still not resisant against injury. Shockey was gimpy last night. Don't get me wrong, I am excited. Having Greer and Porter back healthy not only gives more time for us to bring the pressure that we did not have against Dallas last time and they allow Sharper to play his best keeping QBs guessing, but they are strong players in run support as well. The Saints offense is the Saints offense, but they need to keep the same balance they had last night. I don't think we will be gashing Minny or Dallas in the run game like we were able too last night.

Talking a bunch of trash, then qualifying it later doesn't mean much to me. The Saints are a good team, the Cowboys are a good team, and the Vikings are a good team. Any of the three could represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. As someone who has played sports, I realize that the difference b/w winning and losing is awfully small, and all the trash talk in the world doesn't affect it at all. I love this Saints team, as I have loved all the Saints team win or lose. This is a good football team, with good weapons on offense and improve play on the defense. I am not diminishing their chances. I will be cheering for them until my lungs bleed. Trash talk is not confidence. It is just annoying. You will not make one tackle, one block, one catch next week. As far as you thinking you "know" who the Saints want to play, there is no way you (or I) can know that. As someone who has played ball, all I want is the opportunity to play. The opponent rarely matters.

And the "hey we have never been here before, we aren't used to this feeling, give us our moment in the sun" schtick comes off terrible, especially from a fan base of a franchise who has had as much success, historically, as the likes of the Falcons, Bengals and Panthers.

The "enjoy your last game cowboys/vikings" stuff should seem a bit premature to any football fan as well. Your speed and homefield shut down a studly passing attack who is resided on a one dimensional team. You will be getting a complete team next week who has a GREAT defense and running game, regardless.
