Dallas, Philly, NYG, GB up. NE, San Diego, Indy Down.

Just a shift in the cycle. NFC will rule this year.

What a Johnny-Come-Lately. Where were you in the 2nd quarter of the early games? And really, who cares? Big NFC fan are you? Hate those AFC teams? Is the NFC the "Conference of Champions"?

No to what? NE is definately down, Indy is getting pushed around on the line again like they did at the end of last season by the Bears who are considered an average NFC team at best.SD lost at home to a middle of the pack NFC team.JAX certainly didn't take a step forward from last year. They again have no passing game.Tennesse lost their QB for a month and when he's back he always seems to get hurt.Cleveland, a team many thought would win their division got man handled today at home. The AFC has been better as a whole lately.....cycles do happen, things change it's life.

Agreed. I have felt the NFC getting closer to becoming the dominant conference again. I think many people would agree.

alittle quick w/this one, hossThe G-men took out a bad Redskins team, and left a whole lot to be desired, IMO(how many had Big Blue as SB champs this time last year? )and GB hasn't played a live down yet---Rodgers gets hurt like Brady did and they don't win 5 games, whereas NE still has a ton of talent around Casselland BTW...I'd take Pittsburgh over any of those NFC teams, Cowboys included

You could play the same game with the NFC minus Dallas. Dallas looked tight today but the rest still have as many question marks as the AFC. Green Bay the #2 seed downgraded in the same spot New England just lost. #3 seed Seattle got thumped today. Tampa didn't impress today and neither Washington or NY Giants played great either on Thursday. Out of last years playoff teams you have Dallas looking good, Giants for a half, Tampa Bay may be average with green Bay left but with question marks.I fail to see how the shift has been completed. It can be contested but completed? Nope, need to see more to make such a statement.

The G-men did what they had to do, they won. I thought the Giants looked pretty good in the first half, the score didn't reflect how the Giants were playing in the 2nd half.I do think they were a bit sloppy in the 3rd quarter, but Washington didn't do anything to put pressure on the Giants and before you knew it, you're in the 4th quarter and the Giants just had to run the clock out and play field position. The Giants are still sneaky good and will be a tough out any given week.I agree with you about Green Bay being in any conversation just yet. However, you can't reall say IF Rodgers gets hurt because the facts are Brady is unfortunately hurt and Rodgers isn't so that's what we have to go on today.I thought Pittsburgh looked good too, I won't argue with you about taking them over Dallas. I will argue against anyone who still thinks the AFC South is the best division.

Philly beat the hapless Rams, and the Packers haven't even played yet. And from this, you determine that the power has suddenly shifted to the NFC? Interesting. I guess good wins by '07 playoff teams like Pittsburgh and Tennessee don't matter, eh?
