Hence the need for the decimal system... There are different types of 6's and 7's..
That said, it should be noted that I originally ranked them both a 6, but then changed it because they are cuter than a flat 6, but not quite 7's.
More like 6.5's...

The one on the left is chunky which gives a deduction (as in noticeable "flaw" noted).
Left = 5.5
Right = 6
I agree that the ".5" is a good to have when necessary...basically what you're saying is they are skewing in between the descriptions. That's as far as you should go though...no need for ".25's" or ".75's"

The biggest problem with this thread is the lack of consistency....
I see a girl and go, yeah, she's hot. She's an 8. But then I put her next to 3 other pics a 10, a true 9 and a another 8. Suddenly, this girl looks more like a 7. She's not as hot as the other 3 by a full point at least. She may look like an 8/9 by herself, but may look like a 7 when compaired to other 8/9's.
So you really need to judge a girl based on the other pictures available. You can't judge a girl based on her pic alone. Otherwise, you will never get consistency.

No, I mean normal as in girls you'll see in normal situations. Not models. Not girls hired for their looks (and/or willingness to walk around in small uniforms). Just regular girls.Speaking of, can we agree on a "no modeling pics" rule? If earning a 10 requires a team of stylists, a professional photographer, and airbrushing we're losing touch with reality.

The hat made her look like a cancer patient, she doesn't look cancer ridden in the other pictures, but she still has a busted face.Here's a couple more pics of them- the numbers after the pics refer to their order in the original pic.pic - 3,4,5,2,1Agreed, I think the other three (not the fatty) are all far better looking. It could very well be. I'm of the belief that true 1's are more elusive than Sasquatch. Come to think of it, Sasquatch may just be a 1 that lives in the woods.

This. A surefire indicator that you are looking at a bonafide "1" would be considering if they have it tucked, without being absolutely certain* that they have it tucked.It could very well be. - Average: Check...she's just there, nothing special about her but nothing overly terrible about her either. If you saw her walking down the street she'd just more or less be invisible.
- Starting to be unattractive: Check...pack on 15lbs and she's down a point. Hand her over to a stylist/salon to give her a makeover with hair and makeup and she's up a point.
- But, certain qualities work in her favor: Check...thin, decent hair, eyebrows manicured, decent complexion
- Nothing major, but minor problems are more common: Check...squarish jaw/chin, ears too large, thin lips

Again, remember what the true meaning of "average" is....it's not meant to be the average of the entire female population. The word is in relation to the "middle point" between a 1 and a 10 (specific to the scale definitions)
Also, keep in mind that a "5" is not truly in the middle of a 1 and 10, which is why a 5 is skewing more towards being ugly than being hot.
- A 5 is four steps away from being a 1 (only 4, 3 and 2 separating)
- A 5 is five steps away from being a 10 (has 6, 7, 8 and 9 separating)
In all reality a 5.5 is truly right in the middle of a 1 and a 10 since there is no "zero"

Pretty damn close imo. Cheating since I have more to go on than just these pics, but I'd say...7 and 6 (6 might be slightly generous)
5.5, 5, and 7 (this 5 could be the new benchmark, doesn't stand out at all)
5 and 7 (very tempted to add .5 to the 7)
6 and N/A (I can't judge this one objectively
)

A 4 is "Major flaws start piling up (overweight, blemishes, etc.)" What are those major flaws?Agree that she's not a looker, but she has some good points (nice hair, manicured eybrows, well-proportioned nose, good complexion) and bad points (oversized ears, square chin, thin lips)

To be fair, those two both look better in person than they did in that first pic. One is a stacked, flirty little Asian. The other is 5'11" with legs for days... just have to be ok with the Otis type - tall, skinny, long face.Edit: And they're both dumb as ####.
