Also, and I'm blanking on his name, the Philadelphia Eagles radio guy. I grew up in PA, every once in a while I still hear a clip of his radio calls on highlights, immediately recognizable.

eta: Merrill Reese. Just sounds like football to me. Maybe it's because I heard him a lot growing up, but his voice is an instant connection to the sport for me.

Not associated with a single sport, but as a kid in the Los Angeles area in the early 80's, the Jim Healy show got me into sports about the same time Chick Hearn and Magic Johnson got me into basketball.  Healy had a great shtick by adding sound effects into his sports broadcast.  It was funny at the time..

Where are the Cards/Cubs fans?  No Harry Caray?  Talk about an iconic voice.  

Immediately makes me think of daytime baseball when you hear him slurring and slobbering on the mic.
