The Wire HBO (1 Viewer)

For some reason I never saw this fantastic show when it was on HBO.  I was talking to a buddy of mine about great shows on TV, and he asked if I had watched The Wire.  He was dumbfounded to find out I never did.  So, I was able to "borrow" the box set and watched it completely in about 2 weeks time.  The show was great, and I highly recommend it to anyone who didn't watch it while it was airing on HBO.

I stopped watching a few years back with like 4-5 episodes to go in the series.  It's pretty great that I never got let down like everyone else.  It's still the best thing I have ever seen on TV.

Big thread on it somewhere already... Worth a read. 

My favorite show of all time, and honestly it's better on re-watch. You pick up on little things as you go along that you would not have most likely caught the first time. For instance, Randy is named Randy Wagstaff, son of Cheese Wagstaff (Method Man).
