The WORST GM mover EVER in my fantasy league (1 Viewer)

New guy in my league this year. He's been pretty clueless so far. Last week he benched Willie Parker for Brandon Jacobs. This week he was down 1.5 pts with only Desmond Clark remaining. At 7:30PM he picked up and STARTED Will Heller over Clark. I have no clue who Heller even is. Obviously Im already thinking about not inviting this guy back next year but I thought youd get a kick out of this story.

Heller is Seattle's TE who started last week for the injured Mili. Heller caught a TD. This week I believe Mili started. Not the worst move ever, but not a smart one.

matt millen is in your fantasy league? cool

do me a favor and ask him to not draft brady quinn next year for the lions...thanks

OK Matt Millen Week 5 update:

He has absolutely garbage WRs. The WRs on his roster are Lee Evans, Terry Glenn, Nate Washington, Kelly Washington, Michael Jenkins, David Givens, and Santonio Holmes in a start 3 WR league.

But he has 3 good RBs in a start 2 RB league (Jackson, JJones, & Parker). Plus he hasnt started Willie Parker since Week 1.

This week he has rejected 2 separate trades (one offered by me). 1) Warrick Dunn & Reggie Williams for Willie Parker & 2) Antonio Gates & Joey Galloway for Willie Parker. So this week hes starting NWashington because his normal starter (Givens) is hurt and he still has FWP on his bench. He's 0-4 right now. I hope he goes 0-13 cuz I will be kicking him out of the league next year.

Was there a decent te on the WW? Maybe he though Clark was too injured to do anything.
Not many decent ones available but all reports were Clark was gonna play. He made the pickup at 730 PM so the only players he couldve picked up were on Seattle, Chicago, GB, and Philly. I think better options were Franks, Gilmore, and Mili

Lee Evans and Terry Glenn are garbage this season? Did I miss that memo?

Bro look at the big picture. Those 2 guys are fine but hes gotta start 3. I didnt mean every single WR on his roster was bad just that his WRs in total were garbage.

we had a guy this week drop Lamont Jorden and Pick up and start Jimmy Smith.

Oh, Yeh he out scored me by 10

If he pays, then why kick him out? Easy money.
I've kicked inactive owners out of my leagues before. Even if they pay. I like a good challenge better.
I do too. But this guy's not inactive. I'd be real hesitant to kick a person out in a case like this. It sounds like he's never played before. If you don't think there's anything fishy going on, let him learn - we all had to do it.

My post was more in response to the previous one then the initial post. If a guy is learing and a just doesn't know what ot do yet, that is different then just a slug owner.

I can top that. Earlier this year I traded my #1 pick next year for Culpepper and Michael Clayton. :bag:

Sounds like this guy makes bad starter moves, but his team is fine. I don't think I would have taken those trades either.

Gates and Galloway for Parker is horrible.he should have taken the Dunn trade though.

we've got a real bad owner in our football and baseball league (mostly the same guys) in baseball he finished in dead last (5x5 head to head league) not only did he finish last, but he was 31.5 games behind the 11th place team. He made some bad trades to start the year (gave me holliday and victor martinez for sexson and barrett) and never recovered. He's got some Ok keepers though, so he might be able to recover.

As for football, he is now 0-4. Has dom davis, which hurts. He also kept 2 QB's.

He's a real nice guy and he tries hard as hell, but he's been stricken with bad luck in football and a lack of experience in baseball. hopefully next year will be better

agreed

Why should he make your team better by trading you FWP?

Seems like sour grapes to me. Let him play his team.

I think both trades are pretty bad.

Dunn = RB23 Williams = WR11forParker = RB17bad????You're crazy.

 All trades are done to make both teams better. Him getting Williams would fill a major hole while not losing much cuz he would only need Dunn as a backup. Anyway, its not him turning down the trades that annoys me. Its the fact that I have emailed him & put a message on our league site and he just ignores me. Its like he doesnt wanna improve his team and he doesnt even make a counteroffer.

I have no problem with someone trying to learn but it seems like hes not even trying to improve his team. Instead of rejected my trades why not make a counteroffer? Why not offer other teams something? Why ignore my emails? It seems hes willing to go down with the ship which is not cool cuz it affects other teams. I like teams who try to improve.

Millen just offered another owner Lee Evans and David Givens for Doug Gabriel. Whether or not this is a bad deal or not I just find it strange. It wont help his WRs much at all.

I'm just sitting here hoping and praying that this clown beats you by the lowest possible difference when you two face each other this year.

Something tells me that we'd never hear about it though.

Dopesn't sound like he's inactive.IMO, back off - he's a rookie making rookie mistakes. You worried about his competitive level? Buy him a subscription to footballguys.com:shamelessplug:

Oops, I think we found out why he wants him out of the league. He turned down trade offers the commish made. Crappy trades in the opinion of this board. And he benched Desmond Clark cause he wasn't sure if he was injured and thought the other TE was safer to get the couple points he needed for a W.Maybe he senses the only trades he'll be able to make are crappy ones like the ones offered.

I am backing off. I havent said much to him at all. As long as he sets a lineup (even if the players suck) then thats all that matters to me. Wont stop me from making fun of him.

1) Its the consensus that the trade I offered was not crappy.2) Even if he didnt like it why not counteroffer? Why not answer my emails?

OK this guy finally pulled off a trade for a WR and its actually not bad. Its better than he was offered but not by much.

He traded Stephen Jackson for Plaxico & Foster
