no, don't watch TV.  just streaming.  Faust ruined the SP for me long ago, and I don't encounter race in the handful of threads I visit in the FFA.  

For those of that read more in the sp, the ffa and watch the news and other things on tv …. it’s different than what you experience

He was my first ignore many years ago, but maybe that's just me.   Couldn't take the 0 input, just copy/paste stuff from another site shtick.  Maybe it's changed?  Haven't been to the SP in years.

Correct, but from the personal choices crowd, you gotta see how some of that is on you guys, right?

I just did a quick scan through - clicked on the 3-4 news sources I have bookmarked.   Hardly anything about race.   I clicked on Fox for S&Gs, and yup - article about oppressive words, article about some college talking about black holes and racial blackness, article about a group of black people attacking an officer, article about a trans athlete, article about an LGBTQIA+ Marvel hero, something about Joy Reid and CRT.    I can't even imagine what a more extreme site than Fox is hammering home.   

I could understand how people could get worn down by that, and this doesn't even include TV like you are saying, and SM.   But again, how much of this are choices people are making as to what info and messages they are consuming?

Why can't you just not read Faust's stuff?  Gotta make sure you get a dig on him though.....

Like I said, I haven't been there in years, know 0 about him - maybe it's changed.  I just remember being annoyed scrolling through a bunch of copy/paste posts from another website without any actual thoughts, so he was only person on ignore for the longest time.

Fair enough.  Still an odd reason to stay out of the SP.  It's a good forum, with lots of good discussion.  Sometimes it's too much dynasty league stuff but I sift through.

I need to be more clear then- that's not the reason I stopped going to the SP, that was the reason I put someone on ignore.  

I don't go in there because I lost interest in NFL for the most part and have probably watched 1 game start to finish in about 3years.  Don't do FF anymore either.
