This is the week you've been waiting for Shonn Greene Owners! (1 Viewer)

It's time Greene owners! Get him in your lineups this week. The Bengals have MAJOR secondary issues and are going to have to lay back a bit to hold up against the pass. They have no pass rush and they can't stop the run. They are on the road and are a dead man walking team.

This one has all the smells and looks of a Jets beat down with a lot of running at the end and Greene is the ideal candidate to break a long run or two this weekend.

Get him in your lineups if you're looking for a sneaky difference maker this week.

Hope your right. Unfortunately Greene will still be on my bench as I think LT(own LT and Greene) has a better chance of getting into the endzone. Greenes fumble late in the game last week certainly didn't instill anymore confidence in him. Like you said though, if the Jets are up big early I could see him getting plenty of touches late in the game.

I've been saying this for 4 weeks, but I believe this is the week.

They won't keep him in the dog house for the fumble. They need him back on the field for the stretch run.

The Jets have been up big in only one game the entire year. All 9 of the other games could have gone either way. The last 4 games have been a 0-9 loss to GB, 2 OT games to 'elite' teams like Detroit and Cleveland, and a miracle 3 pt win at home last week vs a team that only has 1 win in their last 6 games. yet they are going to beat down the Bengals whose last 7 losses have been by an average of 5 pts? :potkettle:

The flawed logic to total words ratio in the OP is the highest I've seen in the SP in a while.

This is a failed thread. You're chasing points. If you are a Greene owner then you should be expecting Flex stats in return.
I don't think starting Greene qualifies as chasing points.
The OP's explaination that this is the "week you've been waiting for Shonn Greene" qualifies as chasing points.
Chasing points would be starting Greene after a 198 yard 4 TD explosion. There are no points to chase with Greene.

Exactly my point.

I don't think Steelwind understands what chasing points means.

Love the premise of the OP, though. Read any 'Perfect Draft' article, and taking a project who is worthless for the first 11 weeks of the season is exactly what you're looking for around the 2/3 turn.

I didn't draft Shonn, but I can just imagine Green owners reading the title and thinking "Why did I draft him 3.01"? Because I've been wondering that all year. And hating my buddy that grabbed LT2 late in the 8th.

I want to... but honestly I'd rather start Blount or Bush over Greene until he shows me a something.

Then again I'm in PPR and he is lucky to get a pass.

Seems like un-justifiable hype for owners who wasted a high round pick to me.I'd still start Ladanian over Greene. LT is still outperforming Green. LT is still the main weapon on the Jets. Green isnt even a top 25 option this week. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a good performance out of him, but he's not a great start.Terrible advice IMO. I'd rather start Mike Goodson. That's not a compliment.
