It's a trial feature we're looking at. This is the first time we've done it.a couple of questions please, first is an obvious one I guess, this will be a weekly feature and so not updated daily? second, will the "why it matters" comments be different than the "our take" comments in the news blogger? I use the news blogger every chance I get throughout the season and look for those comments from the staff already, so can I expect this feature will add more takes or just broader coverage than what's there already?
Hi Joe. I think it’s good and it may be counter intuitive but maybe only need to do it in offseason (or at least part of). I think your existing season content covers this pretty well already!Any other thoughts on this?
It's a ton of work for Sigmund. If it's not a value we may need to reconsider doing it.

Hi @BassNBrewInteresting and good read. It would be of more value if the NFL was actually going to play this year. Personally I would be slashing your content right now in anticipation of the season being shortened, delayed, or cancelled and ramping it down the road. If they do play, a lot of stuff is going to happen in a short time and later content will be much more valuable than usual. I'd want to have my content producing budget backloaded.
That's hard to say. it's going to be a train wreck unless something drastic is put in place. Given the short career span of the average player and the relative short season, it would seem to me the players/coaches/owners should treat it like a 6 month military service commitment. Bring everyone in mid August and test them all. Then lock them down for 6 months. No family, no going out, nothing but football and your dorm. Players can opt out and their contract just moves back a year. Schedule games 4 games on Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday each week. I think they could get close to 100% revenue by doing this. Doing anything short of this and if one player ends up positive, then the whole team will be quarantined for 2 weeks. Business as usual, no chance at a 10 game season. Think out of the box and it's easily doable.Hi @BassNBrew
Thanks for the feedback there.
What percent chance to you say that the NFL is able to complete at least a 10 game regular season this year?
Thanks. I don't disagree and that's why I asked.That's hard to say.
