Not that you need to bump running backs against the Panthers too much, but in addition to losing the leader on defense in Jon Beason last week, Thomas Davis just tweeted that he tore his ACL and is done as well. That will leave James Anderson, Dan Connor, and probably Omar Gaither as the starting LB's.
Sad news for Davis, as it's his third ACL tear in three seasons. When he's played, he's been fantastic...but I think that this is probably the end of his career. Unfortunately, he was drafted because of Dan Morgan's inability to stay healthy, and it appears that his career is going to end the same way. Two incredibly talented players that were never able to show just how great they could be.
