Thoughts on having both CJ *and* TJ this year (1 Viewer)

Would you draft TJ in the 4th or later if you already had CJ? I have run into this dilemma in one of my leagues and don't usually like to have too many players from one team (especially at the same position) but this duo may be too good this year to pass up.

What are your thoughts?

Cincinatti's playoff schedule (weeks 14-16): St. Louis, @ San Fran, Cleveland. It might be tough when they play Baltimore and Pittsburgh, but if you think you can make it to the playoffs, it's $$$ in the bank.

My first 3 picks are SJax, THenry and CJ.So, yeah - I think I have a chance.

Who'd your mom draft?
No doubt. Henry was available late 2nd round?? Can I join next year? I like moms.

The weakness of the draft is not the point. Yes, this is a guppy league but its a great tune up for my other 5 or so pro-level leagues. So back to the question --- would you take CJ and Housh if you had the chance? Or do you like a combo of someone like CJ and Evans or AJohnson better?

A few years back someone did some research and the score is about the same but the deviation is lower than having two from different teams. The idea is if one has a bad game, the other will have a good game, so the score will still be good. The problem is the tough games and byes. I did it last year with Wayne / Harrison and it was ok. I had Javon Walker as wel (10 team auction league) and a few times I started the wrong Colt. It could work ok with Johnson / Housh. I wouldn't look to do it but if Housh was the best available, I'd probably take him.

Doug Drinen is the guy that ran the numbers. I would love to have CJ/Housh as WR1/2 in any league.

I think i have some good insight to this question.

I've head TJ and CJ in my Dynasty League for the past few years. last year it worked great - remember CJ started off VERY slowly...TJ picked up the slack.

I've got no issues with having them both...actually really LIKE it.

And with their schedule in the FF Playoffs this year....giddy up.

if Palmer throws 25-35 completions....at worst you'll have 2 WR's that catch 6575% of that. Rudi and the TE don't catch many.

That's a big catch percentage. I'm now going to draft CJ and Housh. Drinen showed it's not at all a bad strategy to take two wr's from a good offense. In fact, it's not nearly as risky as one might think. If you already have Chad and Housh fills a need and he's the BPA, you should take him and not think about it.
