No I will not normalize for those PI calls, particluarly the first one: Roddy White should have caught the ball. He is a significantly downgraded WR this year (I'd call him a WR2 - maybe a WR3 if you're deep), which is also a major part of Ryan's problem. As for the second, the ball was poorly thrown, and it appeared likely that a better defender would have covered it much more effectively. That TD was VERY rare given the alternatives - e.g. a RUN by TURNER - which is FAR more likely in the future. Moreover, the dude had ONE rushing TD in '08, ONE rushing TD in '09 and ZERO rushing TDs in 2010. We're not talking about Newton, Rodgers, Vick, etc. here.Sp yes, I will be deducting those six points when I evaluate his performance.Regardless, he is on my bench for the rest of the season in favor of Tebow, until I see improvement. The dude is not a startable fantasy QB if you want to win.I don't understand this. Are you also going to normalize the two PI calls in the endzone? The Falcons had the ball inside the 2 yard line 3 times. Would you normalize anything if Ryan ran a play action and hit Gonzalez over the middle? 3 goal line situations, and Ryan accounted for 1 TD. That seems about right to me.'TarheelBlue said:I'll be normalizing his stats for that anomalous rushing TD. Thank god, though.
