Time to load up on Blount (1 Viewer)

Here is how I see today unfolding: TB, despite no Adib talib, does an effective job on getting to the qb and rattles Quinn. Jamal Charles is fairly contained BC they are stacking the box and daring Quinn to beat them through the air. Tb gets up by a few acres early on. They spend the majority of the day as a ball control running offense, sharing carries bw Blount and Martin (15-18 a piece). Now, that really is how I FEEL today will go. If I were schiano's that's my game plan for today. Stack the box, Rush Quinn, hit Quinn, blitz Quinn, sack Quinn. On offense run run run. But I don't have confidence in schiano's to do this. If I knew this is what he would do I'd have Blount locked n loaded in my flex. I think if blount provides more spark today then moving forward we are looking at a true rbbc in tb with each back getting 10-15 touches per day.
So based on 1 GL TD (where martin took the ball to the 1 from the 6) and some coachspeak that tes practicing better you see I'm going from 4 carries a game to18 carries? That's nuts.Fwiw I think Blount gets a few more carries but I'm thinking more like 6-8, unless TB blows em out and Blount gets in late in the fourth for some full series. But I highly doubt this is a full blown rbbc predi ted in this thread.

Garbage time!!Martin was the lead back until Blount ran the clock out.
:goodposting:Martin is still the lead guy there...for now at least.
Stat wise, or at least production per touch wise, Dougie had his best game of the season as well.Im glad I have Blount on 1/2 teams I have Martin on, but Im not worried about Martin losing his job to Blount. Hopefully Martin's production in the passing game today leads to more targets as well.

Blunt got lit up today. 3 blunts in the red zone, and all of em crumbled apart and were lost in the grass. New Orleans ####ty run D smoked him today. Hopefully that means more go carries for Muscle Hamster.

I seen those 3 runs and the first one I thought Blount just tried to push the pile instead of sliding down the line and falling in, the next 2 plays I am not sure if any back in the league would have scored, both times he was hit behind the line and the 3rd down run he was hit instantly after getting the ball.

(Time to load up on Blount)

The white zone is for immediate unloading of Blount only. There is no stopping in the red zone.

Buccs consider passing the blunt?

John Clayton: LaGarrette Blount is the most “tradeable” running back

October 30, 2012 by Paul Jackiewicz

According to ESPN’s John Clayton, there’s a chance that Buccaneers running back LaGarrette Blount could be traded before Thursday’s NFL trade deadline.

Clayton believes that Blount can be acquired for a seventh round pick, which would be a great deal for any team looking for a running back.

For whatever reason Blount clearly doesn’t fit into Greg Schiano’s offense.

I think Martin's gonna be dropped in a lot of leagues after this week. I expect quite a lot more Blount starting this week.Martin's shown zero explosion to date. And it says something that Blount, not exactly fleet of foot, looks & has looked more explosive. (DJ Ware was seeing a lot of 3rd down work in 2nd half comeback vs. Washington)
UPDATES?

Ouch! That is some serious crow to digest.

he should be dropped in all leagues.

Just a reminder for those of us in keeper/dynasty leagues:

If Blount is on your leagues waiver wire, now is the time to scoop him up for nothing in anticipation of next year.

He is on a 1 year $540k contract and becomes a UFA for 2013. He is out of TB. Hopefully he lands a spot as the bell cow rb in a good offense and cha ching!
