Time to stick a fork in Shady McCoy? (1 Viewer)

The Chachinator is selling McCoy to the highest bidder. Shaun's best days are behind him.
that was mentioned last year when ADP tore his ACL. He turned out just fine.Mccoy has a sore head and a bad coach. Both will be gone by opening day next year.
The Chachinator has no issue with Shaun's talent, it's Brick Brown that hurts Shaun's status.
Wow, you've been gone for a while. I see your time away didn't help your judgement. I've seen this song and dance from you before. You were wrong then.
Says a guy with a few hundred posts in almost 4 year that no one has ever heard of... Alias check in aisle 5 please.

Sounds like his testing is not going well:

Jeff McLane‏@Jeff_McLane

RB: Sent McCoy to Pitts for further evaluation.
Still in Phase 4 of the concussion program, LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick have been ruled out for Week 14.McCoy was sent to the concussion center in Pittsburgh, which is never a good sign. He's been very tired at night and still has symptoms when active. Neither player has passed his ImPACT test, though both are taking it again on Friday. Vick is working out at a high level, but his reaction time is still an issue. We wouldn't expect either player to be available for Week 15.

From this, I ask this question of any Pittsburgh locals (or any other FBGs in the know): IIRC, Sidney Crosby was sent to a concussion specialist in Atlanta...Claude Giroux of the Flyers too. (Here is the article referring to the Atlanta doctor as being the go-to guy for hockey concussions: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/frequentflyers/Giroux-returning-to-have-injured-neck-examined.html)

I would assume that Crosby and Giroux left Pennsylvania and went to see the best, so why is McCoy going to Pittsburgh?? Can McCoy not fly??

Some of you take this stuff way too serious. Get a life.

Pittsburgh has some of the preeminent experts in neurology and neuropsychology working at UPMC. This other guy, Carrick, down in Atlanta? He has some unconventional/non-traditional approaches to conceptualizing and treating head trauma. Not saying he's a quack. I'm just saying that when you have such a complicated course of post-concussion symptoms as Crosby had and the best of the best in Pittsburgh couldn't help him, it's not surprising he consulted with someone thinking outside the box.Speaking as a neuropsychologist, Pittsburgh has among the best experts in the field. That said, I don't expect any magic to be performed on McCoy. Every concussion is unique, and McCoy's may be slow to resolve, regardless of his consultation team.

His year is likely over. But the question is how does this affect him long-term? He's still having symptoms after 3 weeks? Going to see a specialist? Does he have any history at all of concussions? Will he go the way of Jahvid Best?
I too would be very interested to know if this is his first concussion or not. Anybody know?
First one made public that I'm aware of.

First concussion? Or the first one that he couldn't just shake off and drool his way through? RB's likely get low grade concussions all the time with the amount of times they are hit. I know of no other "official" concussions on Shady's resume...but that doesn't mean he hasn't suffered them.
