Timmons or Woodley? (1 Viewer)

Who do you think has more potential to be the best IDP scorer from the stacked Steeler LB core, Timmons or Woodley? Woodley is a sack machine, but Timmons will be starting on the inside this year and could put up some big tackle numbers.

I don't want to bust balls, but as always with all these questions you need to include a little more info.

If sacks are worth 10 and tackles are worth 1 I will take Woodley.

If tackles are worth 10 and sacks are worth 1 I will take Timmons.

it was more a general question, but in most IDP leagues Im in, tackles are around 1.5 solo and sacks are 3.

What I can't understand is the low projections for Woodley. He had 6 sacks in '07 playing part time, 11 last year playing full time. Weeks 14-17 he had zero sacks, not sure if he was hurt or what during this time, but by the end of week 12, he had 11 sacks. In addition, in the playoffs, he was a MONSTER, gaining 6 sacks in 3 games. And when I look at his projections this year, I see 10 sacks...... The guy is 24, still hitting his prime....Why isn't he projected to have more than 10 sacks..... Stll can't figure that out, is there a big Defensive scheme change?

Unless it is really sack heavy, I take Timmons. Here's a guy who has potential for 90+ solos, 8-9 sacks, 3-4 picks and a TD or two. I think he's going to have an amazing season. Below are a couple articles on Timmons...

Timmons. I might take a reach and get him as my first LB this year. I could see 80-40, 5 INTs, 5 sacks and 2-3 TDs.

He is said to be quicker closing on the ball than Troy P.

I actually traded up in a redraft and took him as my #1 LB. I traded for him in every dynasty league I could last season.
