George had to be carried off court :( Looks like his left leg (right is the one he injured last summer)

They're working on him -- sitting on the bench.

Edit: Reporting strained calf. Pacers are done. Believe they just said George Hill is hurt too.(didn't see the latter)

Can't believe Brooklyn might make the playoffs. Such a completely lifeless bunch. (Paul Pierce recently came out just stating similar) Just so apparent on the court.

There's not a franchise in the NBA in worse shape for the next several years than Brooklyn. (Bunch of old guys + Boston owns at least a couple of their upcoming 1sts + option to swap 1sts I believe) + an owner who could probably give 2 ####s less at this point about the franchise after the last disaster.

Costly lost for San Antonio: dropped from the 2 seed to the 6.

Will likely have to win three series without home court to defend title.

I don't think it changes anything. They weren't going to have home court against the Warriors either way, and they can handle the Rockets and Clippers without home court.

Maybe so, but history tells us if a series reaches Game 7, you want that game at home.

I agree completely. I don't think the Spurs will need 7 to beat either team, but I could be wrong.

See.. This is what happens when you give women internet access...

Who else can we get on the hook?

Oh.... Mexico got skunked by the U.S. Mexican national team officials were adamant they'd never seen a pitch so poorly maintained south of the border.

Definitely causes a lot more uncertainty with them getting through 1st 2 rounds (more concerned with them getting by Clippers than either Houston/Dallas). They weren't much above .500 on the road this year. They've been on a great run since start of March, but they also played quite a few more home games over that stretch. Even if the home support for Clippers is non-existent, still real scary matchup to have 1st round w/o home court.

I'm so excited we get the Rockets. Oh my goodness. Mavs can go to the second round if they're finally healthy.

Playoff Rondo in the second round? A team with title experience? Would be very interesting. Can't touch the Warriors though so we are on the right side of the bracket.

Nice of ESPN to show Charlotte-Toronto on a packed slate of games :lmao:
Ridiculous. How can it not be Pelicans-Spurs?
This needs to be fixed. Pelicans-Spurs last night was one of the best games of the year. Superstar coming in to his own at home against the motivated defending champs, crowd was up for the occasion, unfolded perfectly for maximum drama with the Pels jumping to the huge lead and then holding on for dear life in the face of the inevitable Spurs comeback. Worth a decent chunk of the cost of League Pass by itself, but it should have been national.

Series odds, according to Sportsbook.com:

GS -6000/+2000

CLE -3500/+1500

ATL -1500/+800

CHI -750/+500

HOU -380/+300

TOR -200/+165

SA -165/+140

MEM -155/+130

I usually look for a dog to play in the first round but I'm not sure I like any of them at those prices. Portland, the Clippers and maybe a flier on the Bucks are the only ones I don't hate.

Leave it to the NBA to have the best Series 1 matchup have their first 3 games with 10:30 (on a Sunday night no less), 10:30 (ok), and 9:30.

even though it is a seven game series now i hope that the clippers lose in three man i hate those whiney bums take that to the bank bromigos

For the Bucks home games in the series, what percent of the spectators do you think will be Bulls fans?

Two out of three ain't bad. Hated Laverne but at least she gave us the space blanket.

Hawks are very happy to get the Nets. Should be a fairly easy series.

I'm not certain they win the next series - if we play the Raps they've played us great this year so I would make the series pretty even - although if Milsap is healthy I would still favor them slightly.

This is the first time in forever that there's expectations for the team - can't wait to see how they respond.

Wizards/Raptors and Rockets/Mavericks should be the longest/closest series. I could see the rest ending in 5 games.
