timschochet's thread - Ranking hemorrhoids (3 Viewers)

Kevin Love (dislocated shoulder) will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury, but ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports that he will likely miss "a minimum of two weeks."
It seems inevitable that Love will miss games in the second round of the playoffs. We'll await test results before jumping to any far-reaching conclusions, but Tristan Thompson is likely to see the biggest boost if Love is forced to miss any time. James Jones, Mike Miller and possibly Shawn Marion could also see their roles increased, especially if J.R. Smith is suspended for blatantly hitting Jae Crowder in the face on Sunday. Check back on Monday for updates on Love's status.

Raptors look like they don't even want to be here.
I'm sure they enjoyed the chants of "USA."
That must really hurt all the Canadian players on Toronto.
Not that I need to defend it, but there was a dude in the stadium running up and down the aisle waving a Canadian flag. The chant was directed at him, not the team. The fans' attitude towards the Raptors was basically this
Glad you had fun at the game.

Casey just keeps on giving the gold.

Casey again says it's hard playing five wings. "The guy I feel for is James Johnson. He’s probably the most talented player on our roster."
You think he is the most talented guy on your roster but you don't ####### play him???

----------------

Apologies for all the previous and future #####ing about Casey. It will continue till he is fired.

If Casey is so worried about having too many wing players and not enough minutes, than why does he play his best big man under 30 minutes most nights?

Why does he only play his 22 year old big man 26 minutes a night when there are only 3 competent bigs on the roster? An excellent question which can only be answered by "Dwane Casey".

Casey never let JV play through his mistakes, even in the most meaningless games. And I have no idea why.

Yep. The division was essentially clinched by game 30 of the season. Zero reason that JV was sitting 4th Qs or that Bruno/Bebe couldn't get more than 2 minutes once a month.

(eta: Not that Bruno/Bebe wouldn't have been disasters. But at least give them a taste)

I don't know how anyone watching this Bulls-Bucks series can consider Chicago favored to beat Cleveland even with Love out and JR Smif suspended for two games.

still time left so maybe the bucks will blow it but no matter what you can sort of see them getting it together and i think you have to think next year could be good with jabrari back and who knows what they can do with the draft or a trade they are young and coming on bromigos take that to the bank

if i was a cleveland guy i would want to pplay the bangos and not the bulls to but you are going to get the bulls even though it hurts me to say that bromigos

I think the national media will focus on the Bulls struggling more than the Bucks playing well, but the Bucks defense deserves a lot of credit. It's been fantastic.

all year the bangos have played good d but the o really changed when they traded knight but now they finally seem to be putting it together a little on o it has been fun to watch but i have a feeling this will run out but hey good times and i am excited for more jason kidd and bucks next year with jabrari back brohans

They'll beat the Bulls even w/o Love. Smith will only be gone the first 2 home games. Mozgov and Thompson are still far better than anything Milwaukee offers upfront.

Bulls offense is just dreadful. It's been that way most all year. Offense should be built around Butler and Mirotic. Not Rose taking jumper after jumper. At some point Thibs should understand the Noah/Rose high screen and roll doesn't work. Neither guy can shoot and Rose has been hesitant to go to the rack most all year & would rather settle for contested jumpers. I may be in the minority but a Bulls/Thibs may be best for both parties. So tiresome watching Rose/Noah high screen & rolls over and over again. It's failed all year long yet it is still the staple of their offense. Not a fan at all of his offense. Bulls don't lack offensive talent. Let him go pick his next destination. There's no doubting his ability as a defensive mind.

As far as tonight's game, weird Aaron Brooks only saw 5 minutes tonight with Rose throwing up brick after brick & MCW beating him all night long. I can't recall a recent game that Brooks played so few minutes. (Edit: It was the fewest minutes Brooks has played in a game this year). I'm not sure why he's suddenly not playing at all. He's given them a great change of pace all year.

Although it remains unlikely, I haven't seen any mention in the media of the emerging possibility of a Paul Pierce vs the Nets in the next round, which would be hilarious. The story line would easily make up for the fact that neither team has a chance of winning the title.

2 games for Smith
Doesn't seem enough to me. That was brutal!
Olynyk only got 1 game, so 2 seems like plenty to me.
Smith should have got a lot more given his history; 2 is really a joke.

On December 16, 2006, Smith was involved in the Knicks–Nuggets brawl. The brawl began when Mardy Collins flagrantly fouled Smith on a fast break. Smith was suspended for 10 games

On August 28, 2009, Smith was suspended seven games for the 2009–2010 NBA season because of his guilty plea in the 2007 reckless driving incident. The NBA also cited his poor driving record as grounds for the suspension.

On April 27, 2013, Smith was suspended for Game 4 of the first round of the playoffs after elbowing the Celtics' Jason Terry in the chin.

On September 6, 2013, Smith was suspended five games for violating the NBA's anti-drug program. The suspension was without pay and did not start until he was fit to play after knee surgery

Class act

During the regular season, they were 10th in the league in offensive efficiency with 104.7 points per 100 possessions.
i sort of feel like craig is thinking of chicago last year they have been pretty decent this year with poppa pau it might not be pretty and they do not jack threes like gs or whatever but they definitely got it done brohans

I fear the Bulls will be the first team in NBA history to lose a 3-0 series lead.

Rose was dreadful last night. Turnovers. Bricks from the outside. Leaving his feet to pass. Wild drives to the hoop.
