Good gawd that is a terrible site.
Yeah, you can't do that. Both Millsap and Carrol are going to be free agents so this would likely only work in a sign and trade, and getting a shooter like Korver doesn’t come very often.
30-35? Without their big 3 the Cavs would struggle to win 10-15.If Cleveland (Lebron) wins this series, it will be unreal. If Lebron isn't on this team, without Irving and Love, they win what, 30-35 games?
As much as he wants to win one for Cleveland, he knows winning with this squad gives the naysayers pause and bumps his legacy a few notches.
I keep thinking that he has a legit shot here.If Cleveland (Lebron) wins this series, it will be unreal. If Lebron isn't on this team, without Irving and Love, they win what, 30-35 games?

Yup. In fact they had Irving most of last year, along with Thompson and Dellavadova and a roster that was otherwise about the same as this year's except for James and Love, and they won 33.30-35? I can't say that I have seen him play with this much intensity and desire in his career.tommyGunZ said:I'll say this, if LBJ somehow pulls this off, it's the greatest individual performance in team sports in my viewing lifetime (1980 forward).
Except for the fact that they haven't been playing this team all season long.It took the worst game of the season for the Warriors and probably worst game of Curry's career for the Cavs to win by 2 in OT. I've never been so unconcerned for a team that just lost HCA.
They also benefited from a significant number of questionable calls down the stretch and from the surprising and hilarious return of the 2013-14 New York version of JR Smith. It took the worst game of the season for the Warriors and probably worst game of Curry's career for the Cavs to win by 2 in OT. I've never been so unconcerned for a team that just lost HCA.

I agree with this... I'm def a Jordan fanboy and love to put him down, but man what a beast.Yup. One thing is clear: it doesn't really matter who they decide to give the MVP award to every season. It's a nice thing to put on your mantle and the ceremony and the speech are cute, but LeBron James is the most valuable player in the league. He has been since 2008 and barring injury or some bizarre development he will be for the next 2-3 seasons at least.
He's no dummy and knows what this series does for his legacy.I can't say that I have seen him play with this much intensity and desire in his career.tommyGunZ said:I'll say this, if LBJ somehow pulls this off, it's the greatest individual performance in team sports in my viewing lifetime (1980 forward).

1. 'Dova on the bench. Curry decent look. Misses
2. 'Dova on the bench. Curry contested but still has space. Misses
3. 'Dova completely behind Curry. Curry good look, 'Dova falls on his ###. Misses
4. 'Dova loses his feet to a Curry pumpfake, but gets a hand up. Give him credit there. Misses
5. Curry rushes 3 pt attempt with :02 on SC. 'Dova in his face, but that is all because of team defense. Misses
6. 'Dova on bench. Double screen by GS. Make
7. Curry forces one up at end of half. Misses
8. 'Dova on his ### on other side of court. Curry pump fakes Mozgov badly, wide open look. Misses
9. 'Dova falls (seems to be a theme) on one knee, puts hand up. Curry good open look. Misses
10. 'Dova turns the ball over falling again (lol), 'Dova nowhere near Curry. Curry fires up a bad, contested shot against Thompson. Misses
11. 'Dova in the key nowhere near Curry. Curry wide open look with Smith trying to run after him. Ball basically goes in, rims around, comes out. Misses
12. Curry loses 'Dova on the screen (who does a 360 in confusion). Lights up James for a 3. Make
13. Curry has a reasonable look vs. James (after dribbling off his foot). 'Dova nowhere near Curry. Misses
14. 'Dova not guarding Curry. Curry has space vs Shumpert. Misses
15. Curry pumpfakes 'Dova in the air (is he playing 3rd grade rec ball?). 'Dova behind Curry (again). Curry misses again.
Curry had a bad game. It happens, but 'Dova had very, very little to do with his three point shooting woes. To think otherwise is absurd.

Nobody said its all Cleveland's defense. In the first four games vs. Houston, Curry shot 24/34 from 3 pt range. Basically since his fall, he shot 3/11 vs. Houston game 5 at home (Houston blows at defense). He is 4/21 in the finals. His shot has not been right since falling on his head which will end up being bad news for GS if it's not corrected asap. But to say it's all Cleveland's defense is laughable.

GS could easily be down 0-2 going to Cle - I realize they are without Irving now but it's not like they didn't just win without him. I wouldn't be panicking if I'm a Warriors fan but you hae to be concerned. Especially as the role guys haven't done much and LeBron has shot the ball poorly.This.It took the worst game of the season for the Warriors and probably worst game of Curry's career for the Cavs to win by 2 in OT. It is funny that every series their opponent shoots worse than normal and their fans keep saying there's no way we keep missing all those shots yet they keep missing all those shots. I guess they are just a really lucky defense.
Go compare every postseason FG% by team to their regular season FG%
It was just a suggestion. Feel free to ignore. Why would I do that?
Also I think Blatt will watch the film and realize he can play Mozgov against the small Golden State lineup by putting him on Iggy, as Zach Lowe noted in his writeup of the game. If he'd done that last night I don't think the crazy comeback in the final three minutes would have ever happened. Get Mozgov in there late, he grabs and extra rebound or two and runs a PnR or two with LeBron on the other end and it's all over. It's easy to forget with everything that followed, but the Cavs consistently outplayed Golden State for all but the first five minutes and last three minutes or so of last night's game.GS could easily be down 0-2 going to Cle - I realize they are without Irving now but it's not like they didn't just win without him. If people watched how he played game one, no one would rightfully criticize him for the rest of the series.Imagine what this place would be like if if was LBJ that had the game Curry had last night
You would see why I laughed so hard at your statementWhy would I do that?
It more likely that one of the best shooters in the game will shoot better again than 4 streaky shooters to all shoot better.Sure Curry will probably shoot better, but what if Shump, JR Smith, Jones and Dellavedova start shooting better from 3 as well? They are around 30% from three so far in the series.
Yeah, but Gonzaga did/does.Loyola Marymount just doesn't have the players it used to.Most every time he took the floor in college he was obviously the best player on the floor. Fun to watch.#gymrat #toughHe plays basketball like Edelman plays football.I'll give Dellevadova this, he's gritty.
His naysayers are out of ammo. Win or lose this series, what he has done with this Cavs team this season is unreal. Anyone still picking nits at his game is either stubborn, not watching the games, a troll and/or really, really stupid. If Cleveland (Lebron) wins this series, it will be unreal. If Lebron isn't on this team, without Irving and Love, they win what, 30-35 games?
As much as he wants to win one for Cleveland, he knows winning with this squad gives the naysayers pause and bumps his legacy a few notches.
