Maybe, not what I'd be betting right now though. I've said from the beginning this thing is going at least 6. At this point, if the Warriors take the series I think it'll be 7.

Currently GSW are almost 4-1 favorites to win the series... down from almost even money (when I jumped on them with a nice bet) before game 4.

A bad Finals doesn't change the fact that he was good for the Cavs all season and all playoffs up until the Finals.
It's painful to watch now, but I guarantee you there aren't any Cavs fans wishing they had Dion Waiters back.

Warriors played 85% of what they are capable of last night and still rolled to a 21 point drubbing. It get's ugly in Cali. Bout time for Steph to wake up now as well.

Lebron came back down to Earth last night. Carrying 4 other guys on his back for 3 games in 6 days caught up to him. Even as the best in the game, fatigue catches all. The overreactions in this thread are comical.
With 3 full days of rest, I'd bet on a triple double Sunday. At the least 30-35 points and 10 rebounds - The assists depend on the scrubs around him.
This is actually turning into an interesting series with a cool story line; Can Lebron win a title 1 on 5?

They brought those guys in for veteran leadership and they might have provided it in the locker room and practice. Obviously getting younger on the bench is going to be priority one, two and three this offseason though. .

You could argue the flip side. Cleveland played as bad as they could (see numbers above on shooting % outside paint). But they were still down 3 with 30 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. A curry 3, a bad shot by Lebron at end of Q3, and Lebron on the bench for 90 seconds and the game was over. But there is no question GSW is the better deeper team.

The fourth quarter again was Cleveland's downfall getting outscored by 15 points. LeBron truly has to play almost every single minute for them to win this series. Those first few minutes in the 4th quarter were almost unbearable to watch for Cleveland. He can't do everything himself all the time and unfortunately they don't have the depth to spell him some productive time. Marion, Perkins, Miller, Jones are all reasonable players with finals experience - I think Blatt has to take a chance and rotate them in for some reasonable time.

Don't you think guarding James last year catapulted Kawhi Leonard to MVP? James can put up a 40 a night against Barnes/Green, but AI knows how to guard him (not stop him, guard him). James had his worst game this series which coincided with AI guarding him the most minutes so far. AI has also has a lot to do with LBJ's numbers declining in the 4th because AI has been the primary defender late in the game. Fatigue is obviously a factor late in the game, but James is going to have a tough time putting up ~40 if GS dedicates AI to him - and he was unbelievable game 4 doing so and still scoring.No. 16 said:

I agree. There's still plenty of series left. Basically I think LBJ is the favorite if he has a couple more monster triple double games even if they lose.
The media has been non-stop about LBJ being the only player in the NBA that could carry this team the finals.
If Iggy brings LBJ back down to earth then it would have to go to a Dubs player if the Dubs win.
Cavs win and LBJ is a lock. So for me LBJ is the Finals MVP in 2 of the 3 scenarios. I hope LBJ doesn't score 40 again but with 2 days rest between games now I think he'll be beasting it.
