D'Antoni: I was a backup behind Nate Archibald. Ppl would say "oh you must have leaned a lot!"..I ain't learn s**t! I'm not as good as Nate!

D'Antoni: we put x's on floor in deep corners where we want shooters to run. Watch film, u see "creepers": guys who move up or move in off X

D'Antoni: if my big runs the floor and buries his man at rim, fine. But if he just wanders down, what's the point of running post ups

D'Antoni: if post ups are worth 0.7 pts per possession, why are we going to waste time doing that. We want 1.0+ PPP

D'Antoni: we want ALL our players to shoot an eFG% of over 0.500. If you shoot worse than that, you're a drag on the offense

D'Antoni: if your best player gets lost shots and shoots 45%, offense is not working. Either ball sticking or shot selection is not good

D'Antoni: if we run the correct PnR, I love all the defensive coaches but you won't be able to stop it.

D'Antoni: running side PnR in deep corner is much more effective than higher up because defender can't go under on screen

I think if Embiid was healthy (they knew something was up pre draft), they might have entertained offers to trade back more seriously and taken him. But Okafor isn't a exactly a consolation prize.

I bet they play Lawson heavy til January and then trade him as the trade deadline approaches. There are a handful of likely playoff teams (Milwaukee, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Chicago) that may need a point guard come mid season and have assets plus a group of teams that could surprise and sneak in (Boston, Utah,Orlando). As long as Lawson stays healthy, he'll be the best PG on the market, he has a nice contract, and he has a few more prime years ahead of him. If he gets traded prior to the season I think it'll be to Utah, Houston, or Milwaukee.

he played for Karl in Denver before. i'm not sure of their roster but he'd be a likely upgrade over what is there.

Bosh suffers life threatening injury and will likely have to be on blood thinners for a long time and your response is pencil him for 82 games. Don't ever change lol

"Jameer Nelson at $13.5 million" and "play Lawson heavy" don't mix.

Nelson will make $4m this year and is the 3rd best PG on the roster. He isn't taking any minutes from either Mudiay or Lawson. Any minutes he plays come at the expense of the ####ty shooting guards. If Lawson is on the team opening night, he'll be playing a lot of minutes with Mudiay who definitely has the size to match up against opposing twos.

i predict dawayane wade will play 185 games this year i know that is more than the season but i bet he wears a disguize an plays for other teams under tricky names like el dwayno wadeo and la dwayne frenchywade and stuff like that take that to the bank brohans

It's no doubt time for me to leave the FBG for good. It was fun while it lasted. But it is infested with toxic waste not worth any of my time anymore.
