Too much drama on one team. If you wanted to create a team of idiots, that is pretty much it, just toss in JR Smith.

I think having the coach's son getting way more run than he deserves adds a bit of intrigue as well.

And Pierce flipping out because of the crazy that surrounds him. Lots of great subplots on that team. They'll pull the most headlines for the wrong reasons this year IMO.

Yeah...just seems a tad too much especially for something like that Sixers-Lakers barnburner.

Who is this marketed towards? It excludes nationally televised games so there are a bunch of the marquee matchups people would want to see. It excludes in-market games so that eliminates cord-cutters. SO what is left is people that have a favorite team that they are not in the tv market for but are not interested in seeing the entire season of games. And for this 1 game they are going to pay $7. Seems like a very small group of people.
