Titans 2018 (1 Viewer)

The UDFA WRs are all short quick fast types that were obviously signed with the slot in mind.

I always appreciate your Titans insights, @Bri . Does the Titans focus on slot WRs say something negative about Taywan Taylor? I've been buying him up this offseason since he looks set for an expanded role, but that line gave me pause.

Nah not at all. Everything is very positive about him. Slot WRs in college are the most ready to roll. They may have a limited ceiling, but they can contribute right away. 5th spot competition

First day, rookie minicamp-

ALREADY! Wadley about assured a roster spot. Rose III stunk then exploded for a couple amazing runs. Dawkins was awful and asked to step to the side.

Rashaan eons better than everyone

Nothing on Landry. Issues with not enough OL and DL, but yet they are there so I'm not following that logic.

No idea on WRs or new S.

Wadley and Rashaan standing with JRob and Vrabel while others practiced. Crystal clear favoritism.

Every Titan received a scouting report on themself which was "a number of pages."

Every Titan received a book which has a brief report on every player.

Interesting

NT from Yale memorized the defensive playbook in one night and absolutely blew them away. Comanche? Unsure name. 4 year starter in college. Pees has never seen anything like that- heard his football intelligence is off the charts and couldn't believe it. Answered every Q.

DT Scott Pagano impressed. Hawaiian went to Clemson, then Oregon after injury. Same city as Mariota, not same high school.

Remember DeLuca, how I said he was old school LB? He purposely eats grass because it was a punishment from a peewee coach years ago and it helps him focus. Discussion how animals eat grass and weirdness followed.

Burnett way better than others at WR.

Landry and Rashaan stood out.

Cruickshank? struggled. Falk did fine but was "in trouble" for not telling his WRs they were in the wrong spot. His job to set up the offense.

"Dawkins good day, nice performance. Rose excellent student. Wadley raring to go. We've got a nice group there."

Ferguson barked at Rose, faked, Rose wide open deep. A while later, same routine with Falk and Wadley. Yet again, fake then inside route to Dawkins.

OL awful. QB would have been sacked all day. Enormous advantage for D. Shifted some when scatbacks made plays, Vrabel said "that's their value, right there."

Ah, football in shorts. Only four months to the real thing

:thedoldrums:

But keep it coming Bri, I enjoy reading it - I need my fix! ;)

Here's my 53

QB Mariota, Gabbert, Falk (3)

Falk is either hit or miss to a degree that most usually aren't, probably not given patience out of the gate. Most everyone from his college offense has stunk in the NFL, rocked in college. Not a normal prospect

RB Henry, Fluellen, Lewis, Wadley (7)

I think they will look to find a veteran that could replace Flu which is a shame. Unsure if veterans will play ST but it'll be mandatory for a 3rd? 3A? backup.

OL Lewan, Spain, Jones, Suah'Filo, Kelly.

Kline, Marz, Conklin (PUP) (14)

Kline's big contract aside, he has never graded out well since joining the Titans. Starting G and C experience should have him a key backup that pushes Levin to the PS again. Look for Kelly to start at RG when Conklin returns. Kline is the only mobile interior lineman. Everyone else is a bunch of tough guys that can win with power. They didn't land the Gs necessary to do a Shanahan offense. It would never happen, but they'd essentially need Lewan and Conklin to play G. I expect a flop in camp and then go back to what's worked for two decades- running around the corner. There's no denying the awesome presence they have at either T with a TE nearby. Note, Spain and Marz are college Ts that have played T in every camp since being drafted. Kelly is not a guarantee to replace Conklin, if necessary. I do not get a sense of urgency in bringing Conklin back. My guess is six weeks of quality backups (which is unusual) is best for both him and the team. People understate Conklin's capability but remember he was All-Pro as a rookie. They're not trying to get him back per se but trying to get him back to being elite.

TE- Walker, Smith, Stocker (17)

Supernaw was a Mularkey favorite and has forced a few fumbles on ST and even made a couple key catches out of nowhere. I could see him being kept over Flu and then when other teams go to 53, they cut Supernaw to get a better back than Fluellen. Both are coach's pet types and special hustlers. I don't think it's exclusive to Mularkey but Vrabel will love them too. (Already has praised Flu) I don't think they keep both. Note TEs and RBs playing FB on occasion, hence the carryover here.

WR Matthews, Davis, Taylor, Sharpe, Burnett (22)

I think Matthews becomes the slot and that both he or Sharpe could be traded. I am still quite hopeful for Taylor's future and think he'll be "something" someday.

ST, usual Kern, Succup, Brinkley (25)

DL

Casey, Woods, Jones

Johnson, Logan (30)

Possibly a Klug invite to return. All five have played all three spots. David King is a 4-3 end that shouldn't have been on the prior roster and will be sorely out of place now. I am not a Dodd fan but I do give some hmmm to the idea of him desperate and angry. Maybe as just a DE he can beat Logan out. I don't give any chance to Logan beating out Woods. Pagano isn't even on the team (tryout player) but he could be a monkey wrench here. I think they sorely need the UDFA backups they cut last year and could look to get one of them to return.

LB

Woodyard, Rashaan, Orakpo, Morgan

Landry, Brown, Wallace, Compton, Carraway (39)

S

Byard, Cyprien, Cruikshank and Lewis (43) Trawick (44)

Not enough to run three safety set. Talk of Ryan and Brown playing S is interesting but I have to think they'd add a S if the opportunity arises.

Trawick is still elite on ST. Bates is not. (I often confuse the two, so sorry about that)

CB

Adoree, Ryan, Butler, Sims, Smith, and Hurst (50)

I can't imagine there is any wiggle room here.

THREE REMAINING

DeLuca, I'm obessed with now so I'll just pencil him in and reserve comment.

I think they'll hold onto many LBs at the 53 point to try and force a trade and/or just keep a large amount because very little is solidified there. Morgan should be playing some end this year. No idea how Rashaan and Woodyard play together and they have to do that well. If Landry is a steal, then how do they get him on the field. Still want Brown's speed on the field....on and on, Vrabel is too new and too much switching for him to be truly comfortable with this group. Nate Palmer will forever have value for his ST play and his experience starting in GB. He could be kept with the notion he replaces a LB traded or is first guy cut when someone is signed.

One of this group:

Campanaro makes it if no one else will step up as a KR/PR. Ideally it will be a young CB or WR.

It's been interesting to hear how upset they were that Jeremy Boykins was claimed by Atlanta and that they were fortunate to get him back. He is an elite athlete that is "soso" as a CB and learned S last camp. I'm gonna guess an all-state HS basketball and baseball player can catch the ball. Can he return the ball? Play WR or RB in a spot like Adoree? That they're enamored with him and that Vrabel is intrigued (despite not coaching him) makes him a very curious player.

Darius Jennings' ability to play S, CB, RB, and WR has made him invaluable in practices during the season. His muffed returns last year aside, I bet he could take Camp's spot.

Rose III was best HS DB ya never saw and a gaudy small school RB. He can return kicks and punts. Played gunner in college but not return man except in spring games. Coach didn't want to risk injury.

Little Dawkins (believe it or not) has snapped the ball and loves special teams.

Ideal three- DeLuca, Jennings, and Rose III

******************

JRob is very much in tune with the NFL "procedure" of keeping 53 then signing many AND THEN adding those cut after 53 to the PS. Exposing players a 3-5 days after cutdown day is wayyyy safer than doing it on cutdown day. I think this final group could all be cut and onto the PS before week one.

****************

Most interesting concept I've heard- Trawick as extra deep safety in 3 safety set. Some will say it essentially sets up 10 on 11, but he ain't going in on obvious running downs.

It really is a mystery how he can read a return beautifully and yet struggles on D. If backing him up is all it takes, that'll be something.

Hmmm

I think 3 TEs is one too few, and five DLs is one too few also. Not sure who I'd cut to make that fit
it's been five the last few years with Woods on PS. David King may have made it six. I think the way Vrabel talks will be more LBs at the LOS on more occasions, not more DL.

TEs- Yeah Mularkey makes ya think that way doesn't he? ;-)

With Sandwich a good blocker and returning to the PS, they'd have another. Plus, everyone seems to claim he has nice hands but I just haven't seen it. Still, I think they gotta know a PS player can do one thing well (minimum) and he blocks well. If Delanie and Jonnu are both hurt, they're in trouble anyway and probably running 3 and 4 WR sets, not using the backup TEs as if they're those kind of athletes.

Rose is gone. Pagano didn't make the cut and there seems some disagreement if the Yale NT made it.

Gotta love this safety's story http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2018/05/joe_este_survives_three-day_tr.html Do you have any doubts he's a good guy? With the lack of safeties and the notion of a 3 S defense, he's actually got a decent chance for a late UDFA.

Surprisingly they cut Ferguson. They really need four arms for camp so I expect something to happen. Also, I don't hear good things about Falk. I'm very hmmm here but got nothing thus far.

Vrabel and the Titans are going to a lot of effort to limit the exposure to reporters and even some staff members. The OTAs depth chart involves people at different positions than they normally play. I'm feeling like he thinks he's BB and getting grumpy. The reporters at the facility are being real crabby and snippy.

There is a whole lot of trade talk. Moreso than ever, I mean ever. I don't know how to take it. Is everyone available in some late new coach overhaul? Are they seeing what's available?

Re QB, I have to go back to Dobbs who I mentioned again months ago. They loved him last year. He's quickly fallen down the depth charts and Rudolph looks like the real deal in Pitt so..how much could it cost to trade for a 2017 3rd rounder that the team doesn't seem to really want?

Conklin update was literally "quite positive, great progress." They really can't give updates here. A guy's gotta heal, test the injury, rebuild strength etc and that takes time. For a "step right in" type of guy, the season is plenty far away.

Quinton Spain will play some tackle.

More on depth chart- Vrabel doesn't intend for the same players to start at the same spots each week. I'm not wholly buying this but think it's "be prepared" type coach speak. I think it also shows him trying to force people to minimize the meaning of the depth chart. If Casey starts at LDE, NT, and RDE will anyone be fooled if he plays 99% of the plays at LDE? I don't really know what it's doing but feel like it's wasteful if it happens during the season, but could be useful now

Evans signed and I am very happy with that. Previous years waiting with the signing until t/c was stupid.  I hope this is JR learning.

As for Ferguson cut - if Falk is not drawing praise, Ferguson must have really sucked

Nick Williams was signed. I think that makes 9 new WRs that have been on the field and are under 6 foot and 200 pounds...it's May but seems pretty obvious they want another slot WR as their 5th.

The positive about Burnett and signing Williams makes me figure I was right and Campanaro is a long longshot to make the team

Antwaun Woods cut for yet another tackle, John Theus. Literally cut the starting NT on the depth chart given out for a tackle that probably won't make the team.

JRob, you have no clue with nose tackles

I know the story re woods. Can't tell it yet. Kenneth Adams flew in again and again was furious it's not the Titans way, unprofessional. He will supplant Amy as owner sooner than later... whatever that means. CBS and pk are reporting ownership change but not what happened ....yet.

I can say that woods is on IR now and his Twitter has a statement that he is healthy. That's out there so you can see that without me breaking confidences

Eagerly waiting for any Corey Davis positive notes.... Hoping being injury free speeds up his game.
He should be fine, in every aspect. The WR roles are simplified and compared to the EP offense. He started to look like himself in the playoffs and there was a quote a while back (which you'd expect) that he is glad to be healthy and starting this year off like himself with no issues.

The EP offense is simple and basically wherever the defender or defenders are, Davis runs this route or that route. Mariota is making the very same read so they had better have the same thought.

I think Taywan Taylor explodes this year. I'm uncomfy projecting 3 WRs for a team that used 3 TEs so much and has such a huge RB that could get a zillion carries with little reason to pass while he's successful. I do, very much, think Davis does real well.

Davis has some Jonnu Smith issues in that Mariota adores Walker and Matthews has regularly been one of the top WRs in converting 3rd downs. Walker is old. Matthews is on his last year. Davis may have to wait some to be given the true #1 feel where he gets the opportunity for a typical amount of key catches. He'll get plenty, it's just on those important thirds, I can't see Mariota going away from the guys that have come through for him time and again. In some ways, he's waiting for his chance like Jonnu, even though he is playing.

Rishard Matthews not allowed to practice. All info I get is surprised. They couldn't trade him during draft, subject hasn't come up since.

Remember Vrabel's prior quote about him not fast enough but running thruSeattle's D

This story has caused a lot of bickering with deleted tweets and angry texts. For now, this is a twisted ankle.

This and the Antwaun Woods story makes me wonder WTH is going on between Vrabel and Robinson

Jonnu Smith and Taywan most impressive, not close. Came prepared and in way stronger than 2017.

Lewis and Henry played together and caused a lot of confusion amidst the linebackers. Ultimately Vrabel called them undisciplined. He added a third back (Taywan) to see and finally they stayed on assignments. Back to two, messed up.

Davis looks sharp. Tajae clearly developed rapport with Mariota.

Delanie was too aggressive and idk what that means. Sims ran with ones and Ryan did not but he was being taught something walking on field with pees. It does appear he will be a safety against two wides

Corey tracked a ball thrown behind him, around a defender, and still caught it. Everyone's catch of the day

Kenneth has already secured changes to his company and is finalizing some things. Goodell considers Adams one of the best legal minds ever. I didn't know. Adams has helped the NFL a ton behind the scenes and they're thrilled he'll be the owner soon

Antwaun Woods was waived after a meeting with Kenneth Adams IV. Adams (not JRob) apologized to him and an NFLPA representative was present. Adams said that they don't discuss matters like this publicly and would not field questions. The Titans would recommend any team pick up Woods and will keep him in mind should he be available at a later date.

Adams met with publishers about Matthews' situation. JRob and Vrabel were present. The content of the conversation wasn't released.

He added a statement that the Titan way is the only way we'll do business and this pertains to every person employed within the organization.

What did Antwaun do wrong?

Is the Matthews situation just that he is in the last year of his contract or what did I miss?

Bucky Brooks column on nfl.com

I found this part interesting as it pertains to new roster needs:

3) Ripple effect from kickoff rule changes. In case you missed it, the NFL owners approved changes to the rules for kickoffs at the Spring League Meeting this week. I'm curious to see how the new rules will impact the game and the composition of NFL rosters this season. As a former kick returner, I'm a little biased when it comes to my feelings about the play. I believe it's one of the most important plays in the game, and teams that understand how to create big-play returns enhance their scoring opportunities when they advance the ball beyond their own 30-yard line. Although the changes over the years have reduced the impact of a dynamic return game, the best teams consistently find a way to win the third phase of the game, particularly on kickoffs when a significant amount of yardage is exchanged.

That's why I'm intrigued by several aspects of the rules changes, including the elimination of the wedge block, the standstill-start requirement for the kicking team and the "setup zone" that places eight blockers within 15 yards of the ball. These changes have essentially transformed the kickoff into more of a punt-return play for the receiving team with man-to-man blocking schemes and three deep returners.

From a return-team standpoint, I wonder if clubs will use three returners, like a post-safety setup under the old rules, or continue to deploy one designated returner and a few fullback/linebacker-types in front of him to block any leakers down the field. In addition, I'm curious to see if special-teams coaches will use more skill players (wide receivers, tight ends and fullbacks) because there will be more one-on-one blocking in the open field, which requires better athletes and players adept at blocking in space. The makeup for returners will also change a bit, with guys expected to cover more ground than before. Coaches will opt for speedy guys with outstanding quickness and tracking skills over the rugged returners (see: Brian Mitchell) who used to occupy some of the KR spots in the past.

On the coverage side, I believe we could see more linebackers and defensive backs on kickoff coverage units due to the elimination of running starts and the need to make more tackles in space. We could also see more wide receivers earn time on those units as the play transitions into more of a punt play, where speed and athleticism are coveted at a premium. Sure, those wide receivers will need to be able to make tackles in space, but their collective speed and quickness will make them more valuable than ever on kicking units.

In terms of team building, I believe the new kickoff rules will also change how teams stack their roster at certain positions, particularly on game day. In the past, teams would keep seven or eight offensive linemen on the 46-man active roster and as many as eight or nine defensive linemen, but the kickoff rule changes reduce the need to keep so many big bodies on the game-day roster. Not to mention, the transition of the play into one where speed and athleticism can be even more advantageous will encourage offensive-minded teams to keep more wide receivers on the game-day roster, which will also impact the way offenses attack defenses, with more spread and empty formations possibly on the horizon.

In addition, you could see more teams stash "big" receivers (6-foot-2, 215-plus pounds) on the roster as special-teams standouts/WR4s and WR5s. With teams looking for large, athletic guys capable of blocking in space, the bigger receivers could become hot commodities as bottom-of-the-roster fillers.

Overall, I'm glad to see the league find a way to save the kickoff, but it's going to lead to a few big changes for how teams game plan and build their rosters.

What did Antwaun do wrong?

Is the Matthews situation just that he is in the last year of his contract or what did I miss?
Antwaun and Casey showed up early and worked out. Vrabel complimented them. They were asked to play OL late in practice. They did as Vrabel wants everyone to see things from another perspective. When they were asked to play FB and RB, they refused. Woods said he was too tired because he didn't want to upset the coach and didn't want to refuse. Casey said he is not risking injury lining up as a back and asked to be excused. Vrabel said they're either injured and in the locker room for time with the team doc or they do what the coach says. They went to the locker room. Casey got fined. Woods got waived injured. Adams IV showed up, rescinded things and tried to iron things out. So Casey's fine was gone and Woods was back on the team. NFLPA rep understood. Vrabel ....idk this part....and Woods was back being waived injured. Adams met with NFLPA rep and Woods, apologized, put out a statement to all 31 teams that Woods is a good apple or something positive. I've been told Casey and Vrabel didn't talk during OTAs and were to meet to clear the air.

JRob, executive VP, is no longer in charge of (workforce type) personnel issues. That is back on moustache's plate. The curious thing here is that JRob was the one that has talked so much of character.

JRob has let Vrabel do whatever while he was more involved with Mularkey. He's been told to do same with Vrabel. Amy wanted to suspend Vrabel and JRob but apparently she can't. Her call to Kenneth about that triggered this.

I talked to Woods in the beginning. He expected to return when the air was clear. He said things never got real bad, all argumentative like, it was more do this or do that. He was shocked. I haven't talk to him since and he was told by his agent to not talk to the press. His NFLPA rep told him talking could only do him harm now.

One Titans reported posted that he got a 3mil offer from the Texans and then deleted the tweet. Then he posted the Titans offered him double his salary and deleted that. Another posted he signed with the Jets, then deleted it. Pete Carroll supposedly knows him fairly well or knows of him and has had people tell him he's welcome. This was deleted. He was paid his whole salary as a settlement. This was deleted. I don't know anything after the incident.

Matthews posted word pictures and no actual text then took them down.

Vrabel said he was held out. Then this became he was held back. Then this became working through a twisted ankle. Then that they wanted the rookies (yeah year 2 but what was said) to get reps and Matthews didn't need them.

Jarvis Landry claims he's got a room ready for Matthews to join the Browns with him.

This all set up a big pile of oh what the...as reports are few and far between and people aren't allowed at everything during practice and even team workers aren't. News got super slow and almost secretive. Some conspiracy friends of mine claim this was on purpose so Vrabel can use this to minimize exposure to the press. We shall see. I definitely got way less info than I have in many years.

Training camp COULD be different and this could just need to blow over

Jim Wyatt likes a UDFA WR...alot, like real strong. I forget name, been mentioned a few times on radio once or twice in articles.

Burnett is doing real well at returns which really hurts Campanaro.

Titans still the talk of many trade rumors. Don't be surprised if something happens before TC.

Oh and Conklin looks to be physically ready for week one. Now it seems to be if the team wants to hold him back and not throw him to the wolves. TONS TONS TONS of time for this to change but keep in mind things are very positive with his recovery.

Kelly has played G which I predicted. The third TE had to have another spot for when Conklin returns. He could be a monkey wrench in anyone's plans for which Gs start and/or make the team

James Fennimore Cooper.....

That doesn't sound good, at all.

James Fennimore Cooper.....

That doesn't sound good, at all.
Sounds similar to what I'd expect from Patriots camp. Major difference of course being that hoodie has won a lot.  There's bound to be some growing pains, just hope they work it out.

It really is bad this time of year. First hou have Walker mouthing off inanities and then the new OC says "until training camp Lewis and Henry are 1A and 1B" and this is supposedly news.

When do the pads come on?.....

I expect Rishard traded before camp. There was confirmation they tried in March April and during the draft.

Jayon Brown is playing safety as is Ryan. Wyat's article left that part out. Brown is thriving as a third safety. Ya gotta wait for pads and camp and all. His speed should do well now. He's being complimented for picking up the D fast, being in right place at the right time, and effort. All that is excellent.

It's good to see Dodd gone I guess. UDFA linebackers are doing real well. Vrabel might like them too much. They can't have three gems. I'm leery of a cut decision later but we'll see.

Wadley rocked this week. LaFleur said he expected him to do well and that's why they made plays for him. Again, a UDFA. Something with the udfas won't be reality come week one. Vrabel is giving very little on name players and I'm hmmm if the udfa talk is calculated

I expect Rishard traded before camp. There was confirmation they tried in March April and during the draft.
I get why they might not need him, and as a Taylor owner and fan I'm hoping he does well. Rishard moving on would indicate they like TT. But I'd prefer to keep the vet who has been one of their best players. Also I don't expect they'd get much for him so I don't really see the push to trade him.

Here is the full quote just add that's that to end.• Vrabel was asked about the whereabouts of outside linebacker Kevin Dodd during his media session. "Dodd is not here," Vrabel said. "Dodd is not here, so we can end that mystery. Dodd is not (here)."

Burnett  and Wadley have practiced with the ones. Landry has not, this week. Spain and Kelly swapping, backup guards only with second. Marz tackle with second. Sims doing really well and almost a shame there isn't a starting spot for him. Wyatt loves Vecsey no one else does. Since Jim is awesome idk how to take that.

Wadley role on offense may have been filled by Jennings. It seemed exclusive to him but one reporter claims Jennings ran the same. Lewis has yet to do this role but he is the assumed leader at this made up spot. Taylor gets a lot of passes when Wadley etc is in ie ...threat opposite force D to match speed. Further, Mariota seems to have runs then. One friend is calling it The catch me if you can offense. I don't like that name but have we ever talked of three speedy guys on the field? It seems like always one and usually a deep threat.

Are there slowD's in the NFL? Trying to think on this

In OTAs the staff was displeased with the backs short yardage (brains?) that weren't named Henry. Non contact or non violent contact....idk how you gauge that but I've been told of a lot of coaching, frustration, and yelling. Henry broke a run and was pulled then the displeasure began.

Fluellen is no sure bet to make the team but with his FB ability and ST ability he will be a hard man to beat out....if they keep four. Still it seems the Titans will sign a pile mover and/or try some out to have on speed dial.

This is the kind of nothing that could creep up and be a prob during the year or just be nothing.

Burnett will be fined by the Titans. Udfas not allowed to talk to media.

More UDFAs got time with the ones than any OTAs in NFL history was a statement shared. It's probably not true but I'm displeased withVrabel. He's trying his darndest to control the press and info has been real weak. He talks a lot about UDFAs and shifts Qs to be about them and then instills the no talk policy. A lot of fans are displeased with interviews and I agree. It's hard to word but ya gotta listen and experience it. If some fan wants to know how his fave player is doing he ought to know. It's not like teams give out intricacies on the radio. A simple Orakpo is doing well won't hurt his scheming. When you hear it on the radio you'll know what I mean.

Larry Rose rocked in Rams OTAs. LaFleur can kick rocks for that. His explanation is as if Rose was cut at 53 and not 90. Injuries happen, you don't do that.

Mariota to meet with WRs again before camp. Ya gotta love his determinaton to succeed.

Josh Dobbs was confirmed as a trade offer but not who for. This makes me wonder about Falk.

The roster is very different from what we've seen. Part due to being a lesser team and part Vrabel. You oughta check it out

We are either going to see intersting players in the fourth Q of preseason or they're going to have to make changes for some bodies. I'm looking forward to that

I think I saw a blurb that Lewan wants a new deal - was he threatening mini camp. This should have been settled a long time ago.

Not risking injury during minicamp. Will be fined. Remember they all had to play out of position during first practices to learn other roles. The NFLPA declined to rule and it will be a voted matter next off season. Imagine if Casey got hurt playing RB....but it is tricky because Vrabel should be able to play anyone anywhere. In other contexts I would support a coach. It's kind of a dead issue til next year

The Titans made several end of roster moves thatwerr unexciting but they are shifting toward camp roster.

Dodd seems done still.

Titans are in many many trade rumors still. This has hung around since before the draft. I guess other teams want our players and it's that simple.

I think a cornerback for safety trade makes sense but at the same time want to tell Vrabel andJRob that you don't poke the bear when you have great CB depth. Injuries happen so you just enjoy it while you can.

UDFA LBs are attracting the attention of writers still. That's great. The problem is how many can make the roster and be useful on special teams. They were names so they probably won't clear waivers to make the practice squad.

The DL has done well with both starting tackles out. Spain opposite Marz is clearly the best duo. Kelly has to do better. We can not suddenly give him the oh he's a backup forgiveness

Yes, he should. Didn't he play some TE? they're not there Patriots South, at least not yet, but there players need to listen to the coach and it helps that the coach has actually won a ring or two.

I hate unions like this.
