Anyone know why Santana was not given a reception for this play? I don't think that it was a backwards lateral (but if it was, would it matter?). Here is the play sequence:

1-10-NYJ42 (4:07) C.Martin up the middle to NYJ 43 for 1 yard (Ta.Williams, K.Carter).

2-9-NYJ43 (3:28) C.Pennington pass to S.Moss ran ob at TEN 18 for 39 yards (K.Bulluck).

1-10-TEN18 (2:54) C.Martin left end pushed ob at TEN 15 for 3 yards (B.Kassell).

2-7-TEN15 (2:36) S.Moss right end to TEN 7 for 8 yards (B.Kassell).

It costs me a reception point. Anyone else see this?

Was a lateral. No reception.
 
He is scaring the crap out of me :ph34r: Cmon.I need Mason to Fumble and Chad to throw a 70 yard TD pass.

Why? The Titans are running on every play. Mason only has five targets and his routes are never over 10 yards. You're fine.
 
So I'm watching Star Trek with the wife... what's going on in the game?

Fisher is continually calling conservative running plays and punting, allowing the Jets to stay on offense and steadily pull away.
 
That tipped completion should seal the game for the Jets. Fisher blew this one by sticking with the running game.

I'd take Conway's stats over Mason's at this point, hopefully the Titans will open it up a bit being down two scores....

the way this season has gone.... its WAAAAAAYYYY to early to call this one.

Actually I think Fisher is an awesome coach, but I do think that the play calling has been suspect up to this point by the Titans tho...I think they underestimated the Jets tonight.
