I watched the entire game, he really didn't look that good. Britt was on fire and any QB should have been able to hit him today considering how many guys the Eagles had playing the run.
Collins didn't play well. The 2 million yards to Britt made his performance OK.
He threw two INTs.
He had a fumble that was just a great play by an Eagle tipping it out of his hand very quickly.
He hesitated for like a full second (way too long) and everytime he did the play was a bust. If he didn't hesitate, it was a nice play usually. He didn't ever look comfy to me and I was waiting for that hesitation to go away.
Britt was NOT covered on several of those catches. Collins sorely underthrew him but it wasn't an arm strength thing. I mean prob most QBs would have underthrew him at that time. If I were Collins I'd have been looking around wondering what's what as Britt was that open. Also, Collins deserves credit for launching some and totally putting it on Britt to make a play.
Collins has always been a better passer than Young IMO. I like that type of offense for them.
Ds have no fear in Collins running.
Young has improved this year and he seems to be comfy with his long ball now.
Still I have always felt like Young throws because he has to and they can't run for a 50th time in a row. Meanwhile when KC is in there, Heimerdinger puts in more typical pro plays and has some nice familiar sets.
Bottomline IMO is Fisher will have to gauge if Young's confidence can handle being benched. If not, they just can't bench him.
