Travis Henry will start for the Titans in Saturday night's game.

Chris Brown is still the starter, so Henry is probably being showcased as trade bait. LenDale White will also play extensively The Titans are short on corners and linemen, on both sides of the ball.

I say a few teams could be interested.

1) The Eagles , since Westbrook is often injured and they also need a short yasdage back.

2) The Falcons to replace Duckett.

3) The packers ( They need a RB they have none beside Green and Green is a gamble )

4) The Rams need a back up and insurance for Jackson .

5) The Texans ( DD not coming back possibility , then they have two RB with zero experience )

6) The Cowboys ( not happy with Jones and Barber maybe )

No the Broncos dont need Henry .

You think this is a trade showcase? I read, and pretty much beleive, this is just to see how Henry and Lendale do running with the 1st team.

I don't think anyone is going to be interested. He has demonstrated repeatedly that he gets banged up and misses games all the time and that he just isn't that great of a RB anymore.

Boy, remember a few years ago when everyone called the Bills idiots for drafting McGahee when they had a stud like Henry? And when they called them idiots again for trading Henry? I'll admit that I wasn't a huge fan of the McGahee pick at the time, but I think the Bills look to have made the right decision.

How about the Steelers - neither Haynes nor Staley has shown enough to win the goaline job, and Henry is a great insisde runner.

I agree with the Eagles, Rams, and Texans. I think the Falcons are set with what they got, otherwise they wouldn't have moved Duckett in the first place. TT doesn't typically trade picks, and this team is too crappy to trade picks to a RB who is not even necessarily an upgrade over what they have relady in Green Bay. I think the Cowboys are fine with Jones and Barber. We'll see.I agree that this "start" is for show-casing purposes only. I don't see any other reason for it.

If a team really wanted him. He would not be playing tonight.

I was shocked Duckket played before he was traded. Shocked!

Seriously, would the Titans be comfortable going in to the season with just Brown and White?

I will add the Raiders since back ups Fargas and He Hate Me don’t impress me.

The Birds just had Stephen Davis in for an interview, I would say that puts them solidly in the camp of "interested" for any able bodied RB who may be on the market.

Seems like kind of an odd statement.Either way, they also have Jarret Payton who has impressed in limited showings.

 Can practically guarantee this. Henry is not in the teams plans.
Anything to back that up or do I have to trust you?

They are looking to re-sign Brown who will start this year, White isnt leaving, Payton is a good, high-character #3 guy. Henry does not fit the team's plans. If he is kept, he will only be the backup until White is ready, which will likely be sooner than later, and after that he will be made inactive every week, keeping the Titans from carrying a player from a different, more valuable position on the roster.

Bottom line is that the Titans want to keep Payton, so that means Henry will likely be gone if it means getting DB, DL or OL help.

diesel, where do you get this that they are looking to resign Chris Brown? Especially after he asked to be traded? Also, doesn't Henry have a longer contract that he just renegotiated for less money? Seems if anything he'd be a better backup to LenDale because he's used to it, costs less, and is more durable. Resigning Brown doesn't make any sense unless they feel that White can't be a feature back, and I haven't heard anything of the sort from the Titans.
