***TNF on Prime Video - San Francisco 2-3 at Seattle 3-2*** (+3.5, 49) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

And look they scored anyway and he doesn't even get the glory (nor do my cutline teams that have him)

Good give me Metcalf and Geno garbage time. I thought when they showed the replay Lockett looked set for a second but they did not play it all way through the snap.

Losing that Metcalf TD was brutal 55 yarder I mean you kidding me.

Fun game as a Niners fan.

Bad game as a DK shareholder.
Great game as a Kittle / Lockett / Jordan Love shareholder

Mixed emotions. The 52 yard TD woulda been helpful.

It is no coincidence that Deebo is the straw that stirs the 9ers drink. When he is the focal point they win, when he is not, they are on the struggle bus.

In hindsight, perhaps DKM running his mouth & giving the 49ers BB material may not have been the wisest choice.

Looked like he was doubled almost all night.

I cringed when I read it - has a feeling he’d have a bad game.

If you have Walker at RB and you decide to have Geno throw the ball 52 times, who is at fault? I'd say a HC with 1 yr experience and an OC with 1 yr experience. They will figure it out, but that's bad game management no matter how far behind you get.

I don't really get it either. Geno also looks quite frustrated out there. Bad body language.

He had plenty of opportunities for a huge game. Near TD at the half. 50 yarder called back. A probable long TD if Geno doesn’t under throw him by 5 yards.

Bottom line is DK is a solid WR in both real football and FF, but nowhere near elite. Great size and speed but lacks the feel for the game that the top WRs have. He always seems unfocused when I watch him play, but that’s generally only against the 49ers and prime time games where Seattle is the only option.

I disagree - he's an alpha WR with a mediocre QB.

Geno is a garbage time king - his stats look good on the whole, but his sin-game performances have been pretty mid. Last night was an epic choke job. The 52 yard TD that was nullified by penalty would have given DKM an elite night. Instead he was meh.

But as you pointed out - he had him open and underthrew him for a huge gain that ended up being an easy pick. He underthrew him several times, but the 49ers were also bracketing him all game. Off the line he'd get rubbed, then he'd have high/low coverage on about 70% of the plays.

I just have a feeling that the 49ers saw his comments throwing shade at the 49ers defense and Shanny said "no no no, not today".

What did he say? I missed it somehow

Yeah, so…
“I’ve seen their film, and honestly, this is the least worried I’ve ever been facing them. Their defense isn’t that good, can’t tackle, and they aren’t good in coverage. I’ll probably have a career night.”

Geno is one of the Kings of empty calories
Some might call it garbage time stats, looking good when trailing by 2 scores
Seattle now in a free fall at 3-3 after a somewhat empty 3-0 start including an OT win at New England

The first 3 QBs they faced: Bo Nix in his first start, Jacoby Brissett, and Skylar Thompson.

Since: Goff, Daniel Jones, and Purdy.

Its not a mystery why their defense fell off a cliff, Danny Dimes notwithstanding.
