TNF Packers vs Vikings predictions (1 Viewer)

A lot of key fantasy players going in this game. Will this be another Thursday night blowout? Will weather be a factor?

Hmm...I'll say:

Packers 23
Vikings 14
Officials...11 (for the Packers)

So I suppose Packers 34, Vikings 14. Similar to the officiating screw-job that the Bears were subjected to last weekend. Be nice seeing how Packers games turned out if they were played 11 on 11, instead of 17 on 11. Sweet, sweet replacement referees screwing the Pack in Seattle as an aside/anomaly. :P

I don't read into rain and storms as much as I used to. NFL will probably continue to pansy down and give everyone a fruit and orange juice break. My sarcasm masks my seriousness which masks my distain for the modern NFL. Yes, I'm only 30 but my NFL has changed. I can only imagine how those twice my age feel.

Back to the subject.

Why are you on a fantasy football forum talking about the sport you have disdain for?

You didn't watch the same game the rest of the country did.

I predict an ugly game where the studs underperform and bench fodder excel.

So, Vikings win on a Charles Johnson TD.

Start either D.

Pack will not have cutler this week so they only win by 10.

Bears got more calls than the Packers did in that game :lmao:

Close game as usual with these two teams.. Vikings Defense is better then they are getting credit for.. Packers Defense has holes..

If Teddy plays.. I'd say something along the lines of Pack 24 Vikings 20

If Ponder plays, well everything I said before is out the window, Pack by 30.

:football:

Fat Eddie will morph into PHAT Eddie this week.

Take that to the bank brohans as that crazy guy who refuses to use punctuation says.

Wow.

smh

Do you know anything about the game, or just one of those "Watch on TV know-it-alls?"

Because that was a pretty ignorant statement

C'mon Pack....you know the only way GB has ever won anything was with a little help from the refs.

McKinnon has 25 carries for 180 yards and 3 TDs, 12 catches for 197 yards and 4 TDs, 2 of those TDs will be thrown to himself by himself as he lined up at QB for an injured Bridgewater. So 2-2 passing for 98 yards and 2 TDs. He will also return 1 punt and 1 kickoff for a TD so get your Minny DST started. I also predict a defensive DB gets injured, not sure which one, and McKinnon will sub for said player and have a late pick 6.

And Green Bay still wins by 14.

Yes. And Zimmer gets fired on Friday and is replaced by none other than one Jerick McKinnon.

Bump Mckinnon in PPC (points per coaching) leagues.

Ah heck, Bump McKinnon! There...I said IT!

Minnesota 0

Green Bay 66
Packers D is a sleeper. Got it!
No joke. I just picked them up in two leagues. Between the weather and the possibility of Ponder starting, this could pay off nicely.
Yea I'm playing Packers in a couple league where I stream and don't have a top 5 option.

Ponder + Thursday + weather + lights out secondary = yahtzee!

Everyone seems to be focusing on the run defense, but the GB secondary has been playing at an insane level so far this year. They've held Marshall/Jeffrey/Calvin and other receivers to mostly pedestrian lines, and have come up with some big plays/turnovers. I see the Packers leaving the CBs on islands and loading up the box to stop the running game, and blowing the Vikings out since Ponder is garbage. Rodgers will get a lead, they'll have to pass, and turnovers will abound.
