Todd Gurley vs. Isaiah Crowell Trade Advice Needed (1 Viewer)

First off thank you in advance. Need advice on this only because Crowell is looking so damn good at the moment. Im in a 12 team team non ppr standard league TDs worth 6 and 1 points for every 10 yards. WE start 1 qb, 2wr ,2rb, 1flex wr/rb, 1pk and 1d. Bench is 7 spots.  My team currently consists of Qbs; R. wilson and T. Brady. RB's; DeAngelo Williams, Spencer Ware, Lev Bell, Jamal Charles, Isaiah Crowell. WR's; A.J Green, S. Diggs, Corey Coleman, T Lockette, Demaryius Thomas, Tyrell Williams. TE; Antonio Gates. K;walsh, Def Eagles. So i was just talking football with another team manager in my league (last place team is his status) and he started talking about how it sucks that i would leave so many points on the bench with Crowell and Coleman. I replied they are my emergency go to guys, so then he told me he would love to have them. SO i told him with those kind of numbers I'm going to start them very week and the only way he could have them is for Todd Gurley and his simple Tyler Eifert....he then said done and sent me the offer. Under normal circumstances a no brainer but the numbers look good for the 2 Browns I'm giving up and we all know how Gurley looks lately. Since Josh McCowan is injured we should see a drop in Coleman and a stacked box on Crowell...Maybe. HELP! I know I'm over thinking this and should take Gurley but it feels like a trap! LOL. But really please bring me to my senses. Thank You.

Do it before he changes his mind.  The Browns are the Browns dude...Crowell isn't going to bust one for 75 yards every week against a stacked box with Cody Kessler at QB.

Do it now, that #### is unsustainable and Gurley has too high of ceiling. The rams will figure out a running game eventually (they weren't any good last year and he still killed it), Crowell will likely return to normal, even if he stays good I don't think he stays anywhere near this good, and with just because McCown liked Coleman doesn't mean Kessler will (or that he will even be able to successfully get it to him).

I think it's not a slam dunk. You're right to pause. We know that Gurley will be stuck with either Keenum or the guy who couldn't beat him out for the season.

Crowell could get McCown back in a few weeks, and they get Gordon week 5. IF there is a halfway competent QB under center, there is no way Crowell will see a stacked box.

The Rams have absolutely zero offense on that team all year other than Gurley. Production is not all talent. You need the team around you to keep the entire D from keying on you and keep drives alive.

Based on current rosters, I think this could end up being very close at the end of the year unless Goff just magically "gets it" which I think is a longshot. If McCown is out for the season I would give the edge to Gurley.

I would take that deal.  Gurley played well with Keenum starting last year and has just had a rough start.  Crowell had a big game and is a decent runner but he will always lose touches to Duke in that backfield.  I like Coleman a ton but you are getting Gurley.  I would take that easy.  Heck, you have the KC and Pitt running games to rely on while Gurley gets going.

Thanks guys I appreciate the help. I accepted trade and has one day to clear league. Now hopefully Eifert gets healthy.
