NYT article on brady

Brady’s short-term goal, obviously, is to beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl. His broader game plan involves becoming a kind of lifestyle pioneer in redefining how long a 37-year-old veteran can hold off his twilight. In effect, Brady is bent on nothing less than subverting the standard expectations of how long a superstar quarterback can play like one.

I just read an article, about how his feelings got hurt, over the deflating football thing.

Just shut the F up.

I hope he gets his ### ####### kicked in the Super Bowl.

I'm sure it's jarring to be called a liar and a cheater after a decade and a half of not being accused of anything other than being a gentleman off the field.

Great article. Thanks for the link. Nice long form. I don't care for the Pats, but if you like football and journalism, I think it's worthy of a read.

Now we can go back to being enemies. :football:

Not sure what Brady you are talking about, maybe Mike Brady and his 6 kids? Rams and Panthers have spoken about the cheating culture of the Patriots for a long long time now, ten years since the Panthers SB....point being for 12+ years, people, i.e., former and current players, coaches, and assistants, have claimed Pats were/are cheaters..now the chickens have come home to roost.

for 50+ years people suspected the CIA was doing fake UFO flyovers to fool the American public.turns out they were right, CIA just admitted it was them all along..where there is fire there is always smoke.

the Pats also have such a lopsided RB fumbling percentage over the past decade that it begs to be investigated..they never fumble..

its just a bit more than a coincidence, and no, Belichick isnt that good..

See, Brady and Bb have acted above the law, because they're boytoy, Rodger Goodell, is in their owners pocket. they know this and flaunt it, and act like theyre untouchable...As a longtime NFL fan Im pretty certain this will forever ruin my image of the league..it appears now to be nothing more than WWF or WWE 'wrestling'..

its like we're watching a broadway play ..

can you imagine the Pats win Sunday. as streamers are coming down , Brady and BB are being interviewed by Bradshaw or Nantz, as booing echoes throughout the stadium.then, on monday , the NFL suspends each for a year..comical.

players have been saying Brady is a fraud for a long time now..

now theyre focused on a lockerroom attendant? lol.its such BS..it was Brady all along..

Why is Brady any more likely to do this than anyone else? I'm sure every other qb had the same idea.

So this is taking a Barry Bonds turn?

Struggle makes the experience worthwhile, Harden told Brady, whether or not you make it in football. “Greg used to say, ‘If it was easy, Tommy, if you weren’t in these tough positions, it wouldn’t be special,' ”

they probably all had the idea of playing in 6 superbowls, too

Sure. Nobody accused the Patriots of cheating before.

Brady had nothing to do with spygate, why the #### would he? Anyone that thinks he had any connection to it is beyond dumb.

No connection at all outside of winning rings because of it. His whole case for being one of the best ever rests on tainted victories.

So, were in agreement, your original reply was terrible.

Nope, my post is true.

Tom Brady is one of the lead stories on Inside Edition and is quoted as saying "his feelings got hurt," which jag bag referred to earlier.
