WEEI's Dennis and Callahan in Boston cite two sources in reporting that Tom Brady suffered a foot injury either before or during the Jets' game.

One of the sources told Dennis and Callahan that Brady's foot is fractured. He's dealt with a foot injury since Week 10, but this new report suggests that he might have aggravated the injury. However, no one else in the New England media has mentioned anything about a re-injury or additional ailment, so take this report with a big grain of salt.

I wouldn't put it beyond EEI to float such a rumor on their own volition. I don't think there are many serious Patriots fans who are going to buy "Brady was hurt and that's why he played poorly".
