Tom Brady is a kept man

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady earned a base salary of $5 million in 2009. In 2010, he'll earn a base salary of $3.5 million. That's a total salary in two years of $8.5 million.

For the one-year period from June 2009 through June 2010, his wife's estimated earnings nearly triple the two-year total.

According to Forbes, Gisele Bundchen made $25 million in only one year.

Brady's salary number doesn't include off-field earnings or any bonuses or incentives. Still, his wife made $25 million in only a year.

Here's hoping she made him sign a prenup.

Does a prenup only mean earnings cant be split that were made prior to marriage, or does it include all earnings?

I always though a prenup meant your wife cant get half of your $$$ regardless of when it was earned, but when talking to a buddy about this when the Tiger Woods stuff was big, he said Elin would still get half of what Tiger made while they were married because prenups only account for money before marriage.

Who's right?

Im assuming pre-nuptials means anything before marriage.

A prenup can be written either way. It's up to the couple to decide. Although I think some states may not recognize a prenup that doesn't split money made during the marriage. But I could be wrong on that.
