Tony Hunt (1 Viewer)

Is Tony Hunt in the doghouse? He didn't get a single touch last week. I drafted him as one of my sleepers this year. I know it's only been one week but anyone have any insight?

He's a rookie, learning the system, and currently RB3/4 on his team.

I think the rumors of a TD vulture role were greatly blown out of proportion. He may get a score or two, but I don't think Reid is rushing to get him on the field.

Dynasyt prospect is a sit/hold, re-draft I'd cut bait (and did for K. Keith last week).

He dressed but didn't play. No doghouse. His only value is as a short yardage goalline back. The Eagles didn't have a goalline opportunity in their first game.

Just to put Hunt into perspective, Buckhalter holds the rookie record for rushing yards in a season and he only had 586. I wouldn't expect any more than that from Hunt. He'll probably be lucky to get 200 rushing yards this year.

unless Westbrook gets hurt

Then the would just give Buckhalter Westbrook's work and give Hunt Buckhalter's. Still not enough to break the 586 mark.

The Eagles had 3 plays at the 5 yard line, all taken by Westbrook. If Hunt gets a chance it will be inside the 3, otherwise expect Westbrook to get the ball because of the dual threat. I also wouldn't be surprised if Hunt is put in as a decoy and the Eagles pass on the goal line.
