Debating between Scheffler and Keller right now. The good thing about Scheffler is that with the injury to Hillis, they may utilize him more in the short passing game to help move the chains.
That info can be found on MFL, if you've got aleague that is run there. It's kind of buried, but it's there. He could be a good play. Question - where can you find stats on how opposing teams rank in points allowed to various positions? I read on this board that the Packers give up alot of points to tight ends, but couldn't find any way to verify that.
No, this looks like depth w/ Nate Jackson on the IR now. Even knowing the playbook, I can't see him doing much of anything w/ < 1 week back w/ the team. Graham is still a TD vulture and gets a grab occasionally though. This looks like a 'get the depth ready for the playoffs - just in case' move by DEN. And considering how they've been through about 10 RBs so far, who could blame them?No worries about Scheffler, aside from the groin. This matchup @ CAR looks nice considering TB / Garcia just put up 325 passing yds on them in CAR. Cutler could go over 400 w/ no run game if DEN can keep Peppers off his back. What about the signing of Jeb Putzier? Will he cut in on Sheffler?
Same decision for me - Carlson or Scheff. I am really flip-flopping here. It's tough to bench either guy. I am starting Cutler - does that somehow make Scheff more appealing?Debating between Scheffler and Keller right now. Debating on him and Carlson but this may be the week Scheff puts one in.
Steel Town, if I lived anywhere close I would buy ya a beer and we could flip flop all day on this one.. I have choosen Scheffler over Carlson at the moment because Cutler is also my QB. I really do like Carlson though. This might be one of those situations where it doesn't cost you much more than a couple points either way and there is no bad decision.Same decision for me - Carlson or Scheff. No. But I think if you consider yourself a big underdog, it would be a good play to go all-in on a particular matchup. Otherwise, all else being equal, I like to spread my bets around.Same decision for me - Carlson or Scheff. I am really flip-flopping here. It's tough to bench either guy. I was just flipping through their schedule. It looks to me like they haven't played anyone who typically uses their TE a lot recently (Arizona twice, Miami, SF, Chicago - who blew them out quickly running it). About a month ago, Dustin Keller did alright against them: 6-107-1. Urban caught a long pass for a TD the week before - IIRC that was a lucky play, tipped ball or something.St Louis defending well against TE's? Should we ignore this if starting Carlson?TE points given up is tricky because I assume if a defense focuses on taking it away, they can, for the most part.
Yup, or at least that's what it looks like. I phrased it horribly.SF or St Louis are good at defending TE's if I remember correctly. Maybe it's because they give up anything to all the other positions that there is no need to use the TE.HotNickz...are you stating that the Rams are good at defending the TE, or is that a question?
