I was wondering if this was purely NFL salary, or if the figures included endorsements and such. The link specifies that Sportrac uses both "salaries and earnings" to formulate their figures, so I guess all is included.

Just thought others might have wondered the same thing.

That makes sense, but still a ridiculous amount of money dished out by NBA franchises, where some of the teams come out in the Red.

NFL players making more money, just makes sense, since the league actually makes money.

Basketball contracts are pretty crazy given what some marginal players get and the guaranteed nature of basketball and baseball deals.

The guys on the list above made a lot...and a lot of that is that they played out their contracts for the most part and played a long long time.

Teams pay their rosters, per game:

1) NBA: $744k
