Carnell Williams (Early carries took a Toll came back strong to finish)WR1. Torry Holt ( Rams were a mess missed some games and still will have over 100 catches2. Terrell Owens3. Chad Johnson4. Steve Smith (Was the Panthers only option Will be keyed on more next season)5. Larry Fitz6. Anquan Boldin ( Will a running game hurt or help there numbers ? )7. Marvin Harrison8. Chris Chambers9. No Moss in top 10WR ?? Flawed list.... sure he has been nagged by injuried all year but he is too good to be ommitted.

Steve Smith (Was the Panthers only option Will be keyed on more next season)
Good list, except Moss has to be on here, but please explain the part in (...). Do you think defenses didn't key on him this year?

I think it is fair to say Moss has dropped out of the top ten for now. His lack of production this year has a lot more to do than his injuries. Questions at QB for Oakland next year as well as a coaching change cannot help him out either. Great list. I think McGahee just is not that great - and Buffaol O line is in shmables, the QB spot is getting no better any time soon and Moudls could be gone by next year as well. Steven Jackson is a decent talent - but that Rams running game is bleak - checking Jackson's stats, he had mutiple running games were his stats were putrid. Also, Bruce could be be gone. As a positive - the new coach coming in could balance their attack more - killing Holt's value some. Lastly, lots of questions on the Skins QB next year - at some point Jason Campbell will enter the fray - and he will not immediately help Santana's stats.

Sorry Guess Moss Did so Little i forgot about Him Still could be Top 5 depending on the Situation.. Will Collins be there next yr? what if they draft a Rookie? Smith All im saying is he seemed like the panthers only Option still have him High I think he will see more doubles and another WR could emerge to take some catches... Foster will become a part of the passing game..I just think the 3 I have ahead of him will have better season's.....

My lists:RB1. LJ2. SA3. Portis4. LT25. R Bush6. Edge7. Tiki8.McGahee9. S Jack10. big dropoff here imo...could list a number of people. EDITED TO ADD: If Houston does not get Bush, then I put Dom Davis here.Thoughts: SD is finding options other than LT2 and he can't handle a full workload without wearing down these days. I'm very high on Portis due to his age. I think Perry eats more and more into Rudi's numbers. Caddy hasn't proven himself in enough games yet imho.

I think Holt should be #1. Consider he caught 100 balls...only half of those from a worthy QB (Bulger) and he played really well with no Bruce for most of the year and 2 scrubs throwing him passes.

I agree. You know what you are going to get now with Rudi every year...1500 yds...12-14 tds....NO injuries.

I can't see TO that high in a keeper. He's 32 (about 3 yrs older than Moss), and has had injury issues the last two years. Most likely, he signs a relatively low, incentive-laden contract next year, has a good year in 2006, then blows up whatever team he signs with in 2007, #####ing about his contract, his QB, the camera not catching his profile right, whatever, and gets booted off that team at the end of 2007. Depending on where he ends up next year, I could possibly see crossing your fingers and taking him as the first WR in a redraft, but Holt/CJ/Smith and probably the Arizona WRs rank above him in a keeper.

At this point, I've got no clue where to put Moss - probably lower half of the top ten on the hopes that he stays healthy next year.

I think Fitz could be one under the right Situation...Harrison is isnt top 5 anymore Clearly on the downside....

I dont think I could put bush In the Top 10 if he goes to Hous,GB,Jets he will be sharing carries...Anyone know his Size and the # of carries he was givin...I follow FB close but before this yr thought he was a WR....Anyone think he can carry 250 + Times in the NFL?

I don't see how Rudi is behind SJax and Mcgahee on alot of these lists...... Bengals offense is better than the Rams and Buffalo, Rudi could be a better runner than both as well, plus he is Mr. Durable.

yep

What about willie parker? Thinking about keeping him, would be tagged a 9th rounder for my.I say him because 1. Bus is old2. Duce is done 3. FWP is good

No Moss in top 10WR ?? Flawed list.... sure he has been nagged by injuried all year but he is too good to be ommitted.
Does anyone remember David Boston? Top 3 WR for a few years, then injuries hit him.

Boston had a good year, once. Once. Moss had 6 years a top 5 WR. Also, Boston was a sterioded up freak. Moss isn't. Feel free to discount him due to the injuries, but leave out the David Boston comparisions.

I know that he didn't have a stellar year, but what do you think about Plaxico Burress? He's tall and can out jump most if not all CBs in the league, plays with other great players (Shockey, Barber) so defenses can't always just double him and playing with an emerging star QB. I feel like another off season of Eli and Plax working together will really pay off for them and Plax will be a top 10 WR next year.I'm not saying he definitely belongs in the top 10 but I think he does deserve some consideration given his potential and his age.

Thomas Jones should be sneaking onto these lists. This is a good time to grab him cheap. If the Bears offense really is coming alive with Grossman, he could be a stud next year. Bears have shown they arent going to cater to Benson.

Boston had 2 good seasons (2000,2001) but his career plunged when he left Arizona (imagine that) and was injured. You may not like the comparison, because Boston gained a lot of balk after that, but you can't convince me that Boston just lost everything he had because of the extra weight. No way, to much talent, the injuries helped him fade.

Anyone that doesn't take Shaun Alexander #1 overall  what more does the guy gotta do ? 5 years over 15 TD's this year he breaks Priests record likley next week. He's got 2 more years as the #1 back IMO. Then LJ and Reggie - with LT and Edge

Then LJ and Reggie - with LT and Edge
Anyone who would take Bush over Tomlinson can play in my league anyday. That shows they obviously are rookies to the game and an easy win. Bush wouldn't even be in the top 15 rb picks on my list.

Impossible task. A rookies value, like any veteran NFL players value, has way to much to do with the team and the direction that particular team is headed.Case in point. T.O. signs with the Rams next year. His value is probably as a #1 WR. 1 month after he signs, the rams clean house and announce that Paul Johnson (Navy Head coach) is going to take over and install a wishbone offense in St Louis. At this point T.O. is no longer the #1 WR. Bush's value will all depend on where he ends up, and the relative change in value to veteran RB's.

He can start by outscoring LJ. The last 6 weeks LJ has out scored him 134 to 102(1pt 20yds 6td). Thats not even close.

Anyone like Benson foe next Year?
I think S. Moss is a one year wonder. I would add R. Moss and D-Jax at #9 or 10.

Then LJ and Reggie - with LT and Edge

:goodposting: In addition to this is the ever present question: Can he make teh transition to the NFL and handle 20 plus carries a game. No way I would touch him in a redraft until after the top 15 were off the board.

Top 10 Keepers

Thing some of these lists are mixing in next year potential with ignoring longevity in the league.

RB

Tomlinson, Still the best player in football.

Alexander, assuming both key players resign, probably best tradable commodity that someone will overpay for.

James, assuming resign as well. Indi is a dynasty in the making as both sides of the game look good for years to come.

Johnson, I think Holmes will be back and will cut into productions. Still a worthy top 5 pick though.

Williams, has the explosiveness to be that impact player week in week out.

McAllister, the forgotten man. Torn ACL early means hopefully a full season start in 2006.

Portis, looks to have become very focus on whats important on the second half of the season and still a young pup.

Jackson, I would think that STL will look in the offseason to rebalance there pass to rush(although I hope not I have Bulger)

Jordan, Oakland should be in a position to draft the good OT, but nonetheless Jordan looked impressive in several games.

Jones, J., should be back to the workhorse of Dallas.

Honorable mentions, Barber only if your league counts Rec., Foster as possible standout sleeper, Ryan Moats same logic, Brown, R. T.Bell.

Down and Outs in 06, Jamal Lewis, Ahman Green, D.Davis, Chris Brown, W.Parker, B.Westbrook, C-Mart, C.Dillon

QBs

Manning, Safe pick

Palmer, the new explosive offense.

Bulger, If healthy all year best perfoming pick average 300 yards a game in 05

McNabb, No TO didn't hurt him 2 years ago

Manning, E, Up and coming

Brady, Solid performer

Roethisberger, impressive YPA

Delhomne, Foster will catch out of backfield more than run it.

Hasselbeck, seems to be a Brady fantasy look-a-like

Vick, Who knows.

WRs

C.Johnson, Hands down solid.

T.Holt, Hands down solid.

A.Boldin, Toss Up

S.Smith, 1 man show could be bust in 06 if can't adapt to new coverages schemes

L.Fitzgerald, Toss Up

R.Moss, Heart doesn't seem to be there.

M.Harrison, Getting older.

J.Walker, The forgotten man.

S.Moss, 1 man show could be bust in 06 if can't adapt to new coverages schemes

T.Owens, I think he will actually fall from this point closer to the season, but right now he is a wildcard.

C.Chambers, 1 man show could be bust in 06 if can't adapt to new coverages schemes

I think Holt should be #1. Consider he caught 100 balls...only half of those from a worthy QB (Bulger) and he played really well with no Bruce for most of the year and 2 scrubs throwing him passes.
Two scrubs?Assuming Bruce retires; Curtis will become one of the hottest value picks in 06 with a healthy Bulger. To quote DeAngelo Hall. He is one of the fastest white guys in the NFL.

EDIT *** Nevermind I read that wrong, thought you were talking about his counterpart WRs not the scrub QBs. My bad. My point is still valid on Curtis so I'll leave it.
