Top 10 pitchers to own in 09 (1 Viewer)

Not even an honorable mention for Jon Lester? After the first month of the season last year he had a 2.50 ERA and went 15-4 with a 1.18 WHIP.
I think he is way over valued this year. I don't think he can keep up last year's walk rate and GB% and he benefited from a higher than average strand rate. Add to that his heavier than previous workload which was done by utilizing a heavy dosage of the cutter and you have a heavy injury risk. He's not in my top 40.
Wait. Lester is not a top 40 pitcher?Seriously? That is crazy talk.
Probably...and I have Zambrano, Dempster, Nolasco, Price, and AJ Burnett even lower.

At my salary cap league, the top 10 are currently:

Greinke - 442

Santana - 354

Haren - 328

Billingsley - 324

Halladay - 306

W Rodriguez - 278

Cueto - 259

Buehrle - 255

Gallardo - 250

F Hernandez - 238

(Weaver, Licecum, Wakefield, J Johnson, Lilly, Millwood, Garza, Bedard)

Lester was at 112 points before today's game. He will probably end up well under 100 points, total

Anyone else worried about Webb and injury concerns after he struggled during a few different stretches last season and complained of a dead arm?He tosses a lot of innings, I'm a bit concerned about a break down this year. I could easily see him struggling all season with arm/shoulder issues.
