From the "Custom 250" page, which is simply a personalized version of the "Top 250" (emphasis added):
The values are computed based on the general principles outlined in this article. They can be interpreted as trade values and they correspond to auction values in a $200 cap league with a minimum bid of $1.
The values here inorporate projected rest-of-season fantasy points and scheduled bye weeks (all else equal, players who have had their bye have more forward value than those who haven't).
This is what it always is, which is also the same as "rest of the season."This is an annual thing that I have noticed over the past several years (and probably longer too). The rankings always seem out of whack as it gets late in the season. For example, the Bears defense ranked so high given their upcoming opponents? My only observation is that once we hit weeks 11, 12, 13 or so ... the Top 250 going forward moves to the back burner and doesn't get much love as far as time put into it goes.
