Top 3 RB: Strength of Schedule (1 Viewer)

There is obviously much debate and many threads regarding SA, LJ, and LT2. I draft #1 in a 13 team redraft league that rewards 1 PPR. All three seem solid picks. All have pros and cons. What is the Shark's thoughts on the SoS for each of the 3 RBs?

2) SD

So realy it's a no brainer, in a PPR league. LT2 seems to be the guy....?

FBG has a good one, but pay. Actually found FBG from a recommendation made by the above site. FBG is definately one of the best, if not the best. Well, don't know whether I buy much stock in SOS junk, but I guess I am still on the fence enough to at least consider it for this year.
interesting...shows SEA as having the easiest schedule for RB over SD and KC, which makes sense. It will be a tough call. I had SA last year and he was solid, even though LT2 outscored him in my league (PPR)The SoS might be the backbreaker here. Thanks for the feedback!

When I first saw the concept of "SOS" it really appealed to me (several years ago). I have learned not to put too much stock in it after giving too much weight in my decision-making. Does it have an effect? Certainly. Is it the definitive factor to use in choosing between player A and player B? Most likely, NO. I now only use it to differentiate between two very closely ranked players. In other words, it's only a secondary consideration.

LJ, SA, and LT all have issues facing them that will have a larger effect than SOS (LT new rookie QB, LJ OL and aging QB, SA new contract and Madden). If you think all else is equal, then SOS can break the tie...

My personal preference for the top 3 is:

LJ

SA

LT

in PPR:

LJ

LT

SA

good posting. I agree, I generally don't put too much stock in SOS when picking in he first few rounds...but liek you pointed out, there are questions all the way around with all 3. I guess what I am trying to figure out is who will perform as close to last year's numbers. I subscribe to the "safe" pick theory when holding a top 5 pick. I can always take a shot downfield in a later round.LJ seems to be the highest risk of the 3 (new HC, loss of some key OL help)LT2 is next highest risk (was hurt last year a bit, new QB)SA lost one OL, but all else seems to be the same.So I guess the long and the short of it is, I want to minimize my risk at 1.01. So it's either SA or LT2. in a PPR league, I guess it's LT2, but he has a brutal schedule, and SA has an easy one.

IMO, I think you can outhink yourself on this. The top 3 are all great and you cannot worry about SOS. Go with the guy you think is the better player and most likely to be healthy if that concerns you. SOS is assummed based on last year's results. We don't noe the true SOS until after some games are played and then we'll see.Don't overthink this. Take the man you feel is the most talented for the scoring system you use.FWIW:1. LJ2. LT3. Alexander

SEA's rushing strength of schedule makes me lean toward him over some of the other guys in the big 3.
