Week 13 2024 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (2 Viewers)

D question. More specifically, which one to stash for next week:

* TN D vs JAX -- The better real life D of the two options here for sure. T. Lawrence back this week, but who knows next week.

or

* NO @NYG -- NOs doesn't do much on D, but the opponent usually makes it easy on the offense. Lock has some juice but threw a pick 6 and was sacked 6 times by Dallas. Maybe they go back to Devito. Who knows.

Which?

Thanks

Odd response.

Guarantee you those two Ds are top 10 choices next week.

I think you know that I am going to say to go with the best IRL defense. Particularly because they'll be at home. But, maybe wait to see how Jacksonville plays this week.

Standard scoring

Need 1 from following

Hall/Allen vs Seahawks
G.Edwards @ Falcons
DK Metcalf @Jets
C.Brown vs Steelers

Also which TE

T.Hill vs Rams
Otton @ Panthers

Thanks
I think probably Chase Brown. He's getting great volume in a high scoring offense and he's at home.

Probably Taysom for the TE just because he has so much ceiling and they both have similar floors.

0.5 PPR

Choose 1 RB - Stevenson (Indy) or Brian Robinson (Tenn)

Choose 1 flex - RB not chosen above, Harrison (@Minn), Otton (@Car)

Thanks!

For me it's Rhamondre (good matchup, volume and at home) and MHJ because he's on a solid offense (the Commanders are now fading) and it's a very good matchup.

Yes I do.

And boy do I need Buffalo to come through now.

Milano is active, there's going to be weather (that is if the game isn't postponed), the Bills are surging, the Niners are fading and down two offensive linemen.

So of course the Bills are going to lose 38-17

2nd helping

pick 2 - full PPR with bonus for plays over 40 and games over 100
  1. Jennings @ BUF
  2. Dell v JAX
  3. MHJ @ MIN
  4. Warren @ CIN
1 - Purdy practiced in full Friday, but we're looking at a foot of snow prior to Sunday night. Who knows with lake effect, but should be light flurries during the game. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Dicey, but I do like Jennings role in this offense with Brock back in the lineup.

2 - Such a disappointing year for the Texans passing offense, and Dell isn't the same guy he was a year ago. Maybe 2 years removed from the injury he'll get back to where he was. Terrific matchup, Jags give up the 3rd most points to WRs in full PPR.

3 - Hello disappointment my old friend. General rule of thumb, games vs teams that play more man tend to favor McBride, matchups vs teams that play more zone tend to be Harrison games. Nobody plays more zone than the Vikings. Hard to trust him though, just doesn't seem to click with Kyler most weeks.

4 - not a good matchup in terms of CIN has been OKish vs the run (horrible D overall), but Jaylen has been coming on the last several weeks. Still, I rate him and Najee low end options this week.

Additional info - was a big dog, now favored (67% win probability) halfway through the matchup, we've each played 5 and have 5 left. Don't need a HR or boom/bust, probably more important to have a good floor. **I think**

What do you guys think?

FWIW I went against the advice given here earlier this week for the Thursday games.

@need2know was the only other person besides myself that thought Jayden Reed was the play.

:hifive:
Jennings-Warren. Better floors IMO & even without the floors-good choices. Tempted to pick Dell, buuuut...............

One last one and it’s a nice problem to have but…
Can only use one. .5 PPR

Already used Achane and I’m in a hole.

Chase Browne
Jonathan Taylor
Kenneth Walker

As of of now, Browne is in due to superior QB and the other two being mired in mediocrity lately…
TIA!
Taylor or Walker for me. Chase against Pitt? No bueno.

Mclauren vrs. Tenn.
T. Higgens vrs. Pitt.
PPR
Both tough matchups.
Good luck everyone!
I'm a big McLaurin fan but, I think Higgins is going to see more targets, from a better QB and I worry that the Commanders offense is fading and/or Daniels isn't quite healthy.

PPR

Otton vs Car
or
Henry vs Ind?
Henry is getting too many targets to ignore IMO. Otton was, then Evans came back and he got three. Probably game script dependent but the Panthers are on deck, they're playing better but...

I lean Henry.

Standard league need 1:

London vs LAC
McConkey vs Atl
Njigba vs Jets?
I think it's gotta be London doesn't it? Cousins hasn't really lived up to the hype but the ball either goes to London or Mooney, but in the Red Zone it's all London (16-5 target edge & 6-1 on TDd).

London has a TD in 6 of 11 games, Ladd & JSN have TDs in 3 games each.

I personally go London.

Thanks Chaka!!

Kyler @ Vikings or Richardson @ Patriots? 4 points per passing TD

Kyler playing in eastern time zone concerns me. Richardson just concerns me period

.5 PPR with 2 pt bonus on TDs over 40 yards. Need higher ceiling play of these two:
  • Evans @ Car
  • Higgins vs PIt
I am starting Chase Brown if that matters.

I think I go with Murray. Similar ceiling, much better floor and the matchup is good Minnesota is a pass funnel defense.

Brian Robinson Jr or Jackson Smith Njigba

Non PPR

Bonus over 100 yards both rushing and receiving.
They both have tough matchups. I think I lean towards Robinson just by a hair because I think he has a higher touchdown potential and that seems more important in a non-ppr format. JSN has a higher shot at 100 yards but I think I go with Robinson again by the slightest of margins.

Very tough call. It's two of the highest scoring offenses in the league, so that's essentially a push. Cincinnati appears to have been playing a little better on offense than the Buccaneers lately, but The Bucs have been without Mike Evans for a month.

I'm not sure if it's better to play the matchup or not, maybe it's better to play the home team? Yeah, very tight. Tight. I think the bottom line is I prefer Mike Evans as a player and after the Panthers put 27 points up on a strong Chiefs defense Eileen towards Evans.

To be clear, they're both solid options.

Forgot I also plugged Otton in. So either I go Evans and Otton with Brown or Brown and Higgins with Otton. Hubbard is my rb1.

Never asked. Do or die for me this week. I lose I'm out. Smh

Jayden or Burrow?
Leaning Jayden

Gus or Ridley
1/2 pt ppr leading Ridley

I keep going back and forth on my second flex player. Genuinely torn here!

Tee Higgins vs. PIT

Brian Robinson Jr. vs. TEN

For reference, my other starting WRs are St. Brown (already played, can’t change) and Kupp. Starting RBs are Barkley and Mixon. Other flex is Kamara. Non-PPR league.

Flex PPR….

N Harris @ CIN
OR
Addison VS ARI
I go with Najee for floor and Addison for ceiling.

I think the Bengals are a defense you load up against but, Najee is his same old uninspiring self. He'll get volume, uninspiring volume but a TD is reasonable and it's hard to sit an 18 touch RB.

Addison is on a two game tear but... two games, I just don't know if we can rely on that because he has 4-5 target downside.

Burrow all day, every day for me.

Despite last week Daniels and the Commanders have been off. Burrow has 12 TD passes in his last three games, Daniels has 12 total TDs in his last nine.

Burrow has just as much ceiling and a much, much higher floor.

I can see going with Ridley because there is a lot more uncertainty in the Chargers backfield than most are willing to acknowledge. I don't love either option but until we know more about how the Chargers RB situation is going to shake out, Ridley seems to have a better floor and ceiling.

Personally I go with Tee. Robinson has a higher TD probability but Tee just seems to be a much more complete option and he has so much ceiling.
